Need a little Magic in your game? This is a great disc for beginners. This straight flying putt and approach disc will help your game as it has minimal end-of-flight low-speed fade. The Magic is made to be easy to throw. The rim is designed with a gyroscopic weight distribution and a blunt nose that allows it to maintain its spinning motion longer. This great putter is available in several different Gateway plastics.

What comes after the "Super Stupid Soft" (SSS) plastic by Gateway? It is, of course, the "SSSS" or 4S plastic which is even more soft and very flexible. The disc can be folded in half. It's a great disc for players who love their putters very soft and comfortable to throw.

Regardless of the mold, I love the SSSS plastic for an approach disc.  The plastic is so soft and flexible that it often dies when it hits the ground and you can avoid a lot of nasty rollaways around the basket.  The plastic is also very grippy and grabs the chains nicely.
The Magic mold is a nice beadless disc that is slightly understable, feels good in the hand and has a nice left to right turn (RHBH throw).  Not a great driving disc.  The flexible plastic has a tendency to deflect and get disfigured in the bag, so it flies wobbly on powerful throws.  If it matters to you, also worth noting that the SSSS (or any of the Gateway "suregrip" plastics) gets very dirty very quickly and is hard to clean.  After even just a little use, these discs look aged.
