    Need a little Magic in your game? This is a great disc for beginners. This straight flying putt and approach disc will help your game as it has minimal end-of-flight low-speed fade. The Magic is made to be easy to throw. The rim is designed with a gyroscopic weight distribution and a blunt nose that allows it to maintain its spinning motion longer. This great putter is available in several different Gateway plastics.

    The Evolution™ series polymer, a TPU from BASF, has a surface durometer score of 60 D-Shore. It is virtually scratch-, scuff-, dent-, crack-, and chip-proof. The durability is as good as any plastic on the market. The smooth surface and low profiles make each model a little faster while remaining very comfortable in your hand.

    I have one Diamond and one Super Soft around 174-5g. Their flights are fairly similar. This is a great putter to throw when over-stability is not wanted (e.g., short upshots and hyzer flip putter tunnel shots).  It is also good when a hyzer release is just more comfortable for a player. On a low wind day, I will often reach for the Magic more than other upshot discs. With a bit of hyzer they go straight with good distance. A  good approach combo is Magic (a slightly under-stable slower finesse disc) plus Chief (slightly overstable slightly fast putter that can take some heat with backhands and forehands).
