Looking for a fantastic midrange? The Gateway Element is your answer. This slightly understable disc will hold any line you give it. Throw it flat and watch it fly straight. Put a hard hyzer on it and watch it hyzer flip for a long time. Throw it with anhyzer and watch it maintain the turn throughout the flight. The Element is a great golf disc for beginners, especially in very light weights.

The Gateway Element is a must-have midrange for anyone throwing Gateway or just looking for another midrange to throw, because this thing is a workhorse.

If you're looking at it thinking about it flying like a Buzzz, it's not. I'd say it's more like a Buzzz-SS, straight with some flip up. Personally I use it for turnovers, ot tunnel shot turnovers.

But like I said, if you're looking for a new midrange, definitely recommend getting one of these!

The Element goes really far for a mid, like really far. It's extremely straight, with some flip up. Tons of glide and a great hand feel. Definitely a great pickup!

I've been enjoying throwing the Element, it's a very nice point-and-shoot midrange.  I find it very comfortable in the hand, it's shallow but not board flat and the rim has a slight curvature to it which feels great to hold.  The diamond plastic is fairly firm with a good tacky grip, it seems to maintain its grip especially well in cold weather.  The Element has a ton of glide, it has a beautiful flight with just a hint of turn and a mellow fade.  I like to throw it with just little bit of hyzer and it flips to flat and goes straight for a long time.  It doesn't have to be thrown with a lot of power, I just try to hit my angle and release point and let the glide take care of the rest.  You may want to compliment this disc with another more overstable mid, like a Warrior or Quake, but for long straight shots, turn overs, and hyzer flips this disc flies great.

This thing goes REALLY far. Like 400 feet laser beam far. Feels amazing in the hands, the diamond plastic reminds me of Birdie color glow texture. Fairly shallow, comes out of the hand really well. Gateway midranges are nasty.

The Gateway element is the quintessential straight midrange that everbody looks for. They're nicely profiled, with a shallow rim and a nearly invisible-feeling microbead that gives it the perfect stability to fly absolutely dead-straight. I'd best compare this to the Discmania Mind Bender, as it is completely point and shoot and will hold any angle you put it on with negligable fade. In Diamond plastic, these provide excellent grip and a touch of dome to add a bit of stability. Hyper Diamond plastic will be a little flatter and provide a gentle flip-up out of the box.

The wider diameter of this midrange does nothing to compensate hand-feel or bagability. On backhands I tend to hammer on these completely flat and watch them hold the line all the way to the ground. Since they're nice and shallow, it fits into the hand well on a forehand as well, and the microbead is again pretty much unnoticed. Forehands tend to want a touch of hyzer to flip-up.

For people who can't stand the hand-feel of a Comet, can't get their hands on a Mind Bender, or don't want to beat in a Buzzz or Pathfinder, this is the mold for you. It will beat into a hyzer-flip machine with no fade and no fear of burning over or betraying you. Keep the nose down in a headwind and add some hyzer and it will act like the wind doesn't even exist. Give it some height in a tailwind and watch it land equidistant to netural 7 speed midranges. The Element is a wonderful staple in any bag, beginner or advanced.

This disc flies similar to my beat in buzzz. I have medium to fast arm speed so I need to release it on hyzer to keep it straight, but on a flat release it gives me a beautiful steady drift to the right. The plastic is also very grippy and has held its shape through some tree hits.

Elements are currently my backhand  straight and hyzer flip mids. They made the bag since they performed better at this than others. (Elements replaced my least stable Anubis after I lost it). Elements feel great in the hand, have a straight hyzer flip flight, and get great distance. When thrown fairly hard, new diamonds have a stable flight, platinums fly straight with a slight hyzer, and glow base plastic ones are hyzer flip machines. I highly recommend! If you like your least stable Buzzzes or beat to a hair understable Rocs and you're concerned a new replacement would be too overstable, then try a new Element.  It truly is an excellent mold.

Has the glide of a fairway and the gentle fade of a mid. I've aced twice with this disc and its definitely the straightest disc I've ever thrown.
