Looking for a fantastic midrange? The Gateway Element is your answer. This slightly understable disc will hold any line you give it. Throw it flat and watch it fly straight. Put a hard hyzer on it and watch it hyzer flip for a long time. Throw it with anhyzer and watch it maintain the turn throughout the flight. The Element is a great golf disc for beginners, especially in very light weights.

The perfect disc for the beginner stay competive with their experienced friends. The hemp blend grip is unbeatable for any skill level but especially for getting "a feel" for the game. Learning to adjust for the slightly under stable nature of this disc will help you develop all aspects of your backhand game. If you haven't quite gotten your side arm down this disc will still help you get nice long backhand drives.

I still use this disc regularly for a long dog leg to the left. A heavier weight is nice for a more experienced player when facing a tricky line through trees. While a super light weight is great especially for first timers. I keep a set of lightweight hemp element, wizard and assassin discs for any new comers that might join for a day. Often they do better with the first time with those than a set they purchase to continue playing.

After picking up more experience and trying some others, this one in a light weight is still my favorite straight flying disc. I don't use it for much angle at all and have other mid ranges that I use for shaping shots. I beat my lightweight hemp blend to death and I have another 180g one that I don't much care for... but I am looking to get more lightweight elements because I have yet to find anything that flys any better on a flat straight line.

The hemp blend is probably perfect for a beginner because of how grippy it is. Similar to a jawbreaker in discraft but similar to a comet if anything in flight and stability. I'd say flight wise the chart is pretty accurate if there is close to no wind. If there is wind greater than 12 mph, I suggest somthing more overstable than this. I have not tried this disc in a tailwind but it may work in your favor. Very beginner friendly disc for the hemp blend.
