Looking for a fantastic midrange? The Gateway Element is your answer. This slightly understable disc will hold any line you give it. Throw it flat and watch it fly straight. Put a hard hyzer on it and watch it hyzer flip for a long time. Throw it with anhyzer and watch it maintain the turn throughout the flight. The Element is a great golf disc for beginners, especially in very light weights.

Mine turned out to be very understable. Could be a bad run, but I also have a hard time getting used to the rim. It's got like an acute angle between where the rim meets the flight plate? And it makes releasing the disc a bit tricky to me. It left my bag rather quickly. I know it's quite popular though, so maybe a different plastic or a different run would be the fix?

Throw your Buzz in the trash and grab an Element.  Sure grip is great, firm and takes a beating letting the disc break in over time.  This is the most understable mid I have ever thrown so just watch the power and it will go where ever you point it.  I have loned this kid out to all my friends and ever single one bought one.

I've owned and thrown several Elements, in both Sure Grip and HPP plastics, and I love them. My preference is a well-worn Element S, which is fairly understable. Great for long anhyzer shots and tight, uphill shots. It will always have a place in my bag.

I just started using this disc, and am absolutely loving it. It's very straight, holds a line great, and hardly fades at the end of the flight. It is quickly becoming my favorite all around aproach disc.

I just used the Element for the first time today. This is a great disc. It is super straight flying and has very minimal fade. On one shot from about 150 feet I hit the pole. I really like the way the rim feels in this disc; it's very shallow and almost rounded. It seems that all the Gateway mid ranges have this feel to them. The Element I used was in Sure Grip plastic. This plastic has a great feel to it. It's soft, but firm (that probably doesn't make sense). The grippiness of this plastic was especially useful as I was playing in the snow. I didn't have to worry about pulling the towel out nearly as much as I did with discs in different plastic molds. I doubt the Element will replace my MVP anode as my straight flying mid range, but this is definitely one worth throwing, especially for the low cost of sure grip plastic.
