The Verdict is a very overstable midrange designed to handle a lot of torque with accurate consistent flights. All Verdicts stamped either “Prototype” or “First Run – Prototype” are stamped with Truth on the back. The disc was originally to be released as the Truth, but that name was instead used for a “True” straight flyer.

This is a good overstable mid. It does what it's supposed to do and flies similar to my MD5. The problem for me is I just don't think I need this slot. It hardly goes any farther than my A2 but I prefer that disc, especially on forehand to the Verdict. And honestly if I need to crank on it because on a head wind, I'd rather just disc up to a Firebird or something. I feel like a controlled Firebird shot really covers the gap past a juiced A2 shot, which is why it came out of my bag. With that said, it's not a perfect combination as I keep toying with the idea of adding an overstable mid back in. Also to be fair, the Verdict is not as overstable as the A2 or Firebird, but again, I question whether or not I need a midrange in my bag like that.

Great overstable mid. Its very cool how similar the hand feel is to the emac truth. So if you throw the emac truth these two discs will be a great pair. The verdict is fast and has a reliable fade. Probably closer to a 3 than 3.5. All I can say it looks a feels like the emac truth but overstable. I love it and it comes out every round.

This is my favorite disc and my first one. It was very overstable, but I was a beginner. I got my first ace with this disc and is one of the most comfortable discs I've tried. Now, it's beat in and is a fairly neutral flier. I got a signature one but the feel was off and the dome was bigger than I like (my other one is a flat top. very nice backhand and forehand) which was uncomfortable for the forehand. Not sure how that changed so much but for the flat top ones, would recommend for any level.

I was strictly a Justice only for the overstable mids in my bag for a long time.  I finally tried out a lucid verdict and am very glad I did.  It is overstable, but it is still workable for wide variety of shots unlike the Justice.  It is a great disc for the 250-300 foot holes that need a strong finish.  I just can't get the Justice out that far.  I get good smooth releases and usually a very nice skip.  I like the verdict because it acts a lot like a putter off the teebox, with way more finish.  It holds the hyzer angle, the flat release, and the anhyzer very well before you get that strong fade.  I still prefer the Justice for the upshots, but the Verdict is the mid I throw off the teebox or when I need the distance.

Picked up a lucid misprint to try and Im not looking back. My trusty VIP anvils that have become hard to find have been replaced by verdicts in lucid and fuzion plastic. they feel and fly good forehand and backhand. Highly recommend.

Great disc for both backhand and forehand with very dependable fade. The lucid plastic has a great feel. The lucid glimmer plastic is "domy" compared to the normal lucid. At least the few I have are that way. I prefer the flat lucid with awesome skullboy stamp from infinite for my forehand mid range.

The Verdict is my favorite overstable midrange. I like it a lot because it is very glidy and controllable with a consistent fade to the left on a RHBH. I primarily use it for hyzer shots that I need to fade a lot or for shots that are very straight until the end where it has a consistent fade. For a more beginner player, this disc may fly pretty overstable, but this disc is not to overstable for a backhand for amore advanced player. I like using this disc a lot for spike hyzers. I prefer this over a fairway driver for spike hyzers because I find it a little more controllable. I recommend this disc primarily for more advanced players, but it is also a good beginner disc.

I received a Moonshine Verdict (was forced to choose a plastic, no Moonshine available at time of review) as a mystery disc in an order, and initially thought it would be too similar to the Gator/MD5s that I have. Throwing backhand, it definitely has more glide than those discs, but the fade when powered up was significantly less and I have that slot filled by other discs I am more comfortable with.

Thrown forehand, however, this thing was a game changer. It felt extremely comfortable, can take a decent amount of power, and glides/fades forward reliably. I struggle to forehand my midranges, and for a 250' shot, this is now what I am reaching for if I require a forehand. This has been a fantastic "gap filler" disc in my bag! It does have a slightly deeper rim than what I usually prefer, so I would hold one before pulling the trigger, but it has been a great addition after getting to know it!

TL,DR: It's not a longer Zone/A2, it's not a shorter Firebird. It's a reliable, medium glide, forward fading disc that can hold a flat release and handle some power without turning. Try one out!

Was searching for a reliably overstable midrange that felt good in the hands for a while before coming across the verdict. I love using this for windy days or when a zone won't go far enough but a firebird is too much. Love the shallow rim for forehands and backhands feel just as good. Can't recommend this disc enough

I bought a Lucid Verdict, my first DD purchase, about a month ago. This disc is overstable but not nearly as overstable as I had thought, which is not a bad thing. The Lucid plastic has a great feel in the hand and is grippy to the touch. I like to throw this disc on open fairways and it gives be a great reliable finish to the left.

I've been bagging this disc for years and I find it to be a very useful, but niche disc.  If you're fighting heavy headwinds it will hold the line remarkably well.  If you need to dogleg around a corner this disc's fade will not disappoint.
I hear a lot of folks like the Streamline Runway in these kinds of situations I'm quite comfortable with this disc and feel no need to change it out.  The rim feels good in the hand and easy to release.

The Lucid Verdict is the midrange I had been looking for for as long as I've been playing. It is overstable as its fade rating is 3.5, making it very dependable in all situations. The pull factor of the Verdict is that, thrown at high power, it will flip up, fly straight, and then always fade. With a full power shot I can get my Lucid Verdict to fly within the same range as my fairway drivers.

Comparing it to my Moonshine Emac Truth, the Lucid Verdict does not demonstrate high speed turn and has a more aggressive fade with some skip potential. Because it does not really demonstrate high speed turn, I can throw it as hard as I want to and know that it will not turn over on me, yielding me a flight that I can trust. The Verdict flies just as far as my Moonshine Emac Truth, but a more-straight to high fade flight as opposed to a flex line that the Emac Truth can offer.

Although I'm not much of a forehand player, the Verdict has also been dependable for my forehand shots.

My favorite overstable midrange by a long shot, Verdict is comfortable in the hand, and its bead isn't too big to be untractable. Very consistent and great for headwinds. Beaten in, I've found my Lucid Verdict to still retain most of it's stability, just adding a hair bit of turn, but still with a reliable fade out. I'd say it beats in to a good 5/5/-0.5/2

The verdict is the beefy brother of the Emac truth. Same max distance, but with a flatter profile that gives it its reliable finish fade. I would not compare its stability to a justice, its more comparable to a fast slammer or an opto x compass. I prefer it more than the opto x compass because the rim is very similar to the Emac truth, which if you see my review on that disc, is one of my all time favorites. Its reliable, good in moderate wind, and a good addition to someones bag.

If you read my review of the EMac Truth, then you'll understand when I say that this is the disc I was hoping the EMac Truth would be. It has the same freaky distance except it has the stability to be accurate.

Don't believe the flight numbers on this disc AT ALL. The numbers make it look like a step down in stability from a justice, but it's more like 3-4 steps down. Not trustworthy in a headwind. Great glidey mid with reliable, but not overpowering, fade.

I have a Verdict in 175g Lucid plastic and it's definitely one of my favorite mids. The rim feels very similar if not identical to a Truth or EMac Truth but the top is flatter. It has a small bead and the rim depth is a little shallow compared to a lot of midrange discs out there. Although I think it's similar to a Roc, just in the depth of the rim. This disc flies very straight for me and then dumps out at the end. I like it mostly for backhand but I can make a forehand shot work. However, I prefer not to use this disc for forehand because I have other discs that work better for that. I like to throw the Verdict with a power grip and I have found it very reliable. It was my overstable mid of choice until recently when I got a Discmania Method. I like the Method a hair more than the Verdict. However, if I lost my Method I would have no problem putting the Verdict back in the bag.

If you rhrow an Emac or Premac Truth, the Verdict is the perfect overstable compliment. It feels very similar in the hand and the release is very similar to the Truth,  both versions.

The Verdict can take a lot of power. It flies straight with a sharp, dependable fade. It handles great hyzer lines and short spike hyzer. It can also function on short FH shots.

If you wanna throw the truth but the headwind is blowing, grab your verdict.

A brand new Lucid Verdict is very much a point and shoot type midrange with sneaky distance and a strong finish. I love the feel of the disc; it feels very similar to the Emac Truth, but is more stable. While the Emac is great for straighter shots with a reliable finish, the Verdict shines on hyzers and flex shots, as well as on windy days. The Lucid plastic will hold up to abuse; a few months of frequent play (and tree hits) will turn this disc into a straight flyer with a consistent fade.

There are a lot of other discs that fly similar to a Verdict, so I bag it based on the feel and consistency. If you like the feel of the Truth/Emac Truth, and love the flight of a Roc3, Wasp, or Bard, give this one a shot.

It's hard to measure a Lucid Verdict for a beginner, because I believe anyone can throw a Verdict, but the better your arm gets, the more useful a Verdict becomes for you. It isn't as overstable as a Justice or Gator, but will hold up in any wind that isn't absolutely crushing. Lucid give it a bit more stability right away, and will hold it just a bit longer than the Fuzion plastic.

The Verdict is a stable to overstable midrange option from Dynamic Discs. The Verdict feels very comfortable in the hand with a lower profile and shallow rim. The Lucid plastic feels good in hand is extremely durable. The flight is very stable and you can really put some power on this disc without worry of it turning and burning. The flight is straight with moderate fade at the end. It is not a meathook, but more comparable to a Buzzz OS. This would be a great disc to pair with the Truth in the wind. I also liked this disc for forehands, as the comfortable rim made it easy to release.

I have a 175g Lucid Verdict (also owned a BioFuzion and a Fuzion Verdict).  I've not noticed any stability differences between the different plastics.  I sold a Fuzion that I had used frequently for well over a year and it still flew about the same as my Lucid Verdict with minimal usage.

If you like the EMac Truth you'll love the Verdict.  Both have a similar feel.  The Verdict might be a touch flatter with a slighty higher PLH and for me even a slightly more comfortable feel.  For me the Verdict and the EMac are the most comfortable midranges I've thrown (both backhand and forehand).

The Verdict holds up to wind a little better than the EMac, doesn't turn as easily, and will fight out of a turn quicker, as well as having a more aggressive fade.  DD lists the fade on the disc as a 3.5 which is just a tick less than the 4 on the Justice and anyone who has thrown the two will tell you that is inaccurate. The only overstable mids I've thrown has been a Verdict, Justice, and a Caiman and the Verdict the least stable of the bunch.  I would say the Verdict lies in between an EMac and a Caiman in stability.

I cannot rate this disc highly enough.  I think due to living in the shadow of the Emac Truth has caused this disc to be underrated somewhat.

I currently bag two lucid verdicts (both 177g).  Exceptionally reliable discs. even into mild/moderate (depending on power and form I guess) headwinds these will stay straight to overstable.  In calm conditions my older verdict goes dead straight before finishing hard at the end.  My newer verdict starts fading a touch earlier and I go to it when the the head wind might be too brutal for my other verdict or I need an earlier/harder finish.

The verdict is the overstable compliment to the Truth. For me, it flies exactly as advertised. You can rip on it hard and flat and know it will hold straight without turnover. On a hyzer, it penetrates forward as it fades but still goes relatively far for how stable it is. When I throw it on an anhyzer it almost always flexes back with authority, making this disc very versatile. It is hard to compare this to another disc, give it a try!

The Verdict is my go-to overstable midrange when the Justice is too much beef. I prefer them as flat as possible to keep the stability high- too much dome on these and they get too flippy. I prefer to use mine rhbh but they work well with a forehand too. They handle wind better than most mids in this class. I pair mine with an Emac Truth and have shaved points from every round. Throw the Verdict hard and watch the magic.

Absolutely love this disc and where it fits my game/bag.  Can't believe I took so long to try it out.  As a power thrower, it fits perfectly: off the tee, for medium/long straight lines through the woods, with no turn, and very late, gentle fade, for long, open approaches, standstill tee shots with anny, to carve wooded S turn lines, and also excels at standstill/moderate power, fan grip flicks that go straight for almost all of the flight, until the very end.  The disc I'd most depended on for the same lines was my fresh S-PD, powered down.  This is a better, more consistent fit.  Complements a Buzzz and Suspect very nicely.  Fantastic dependability and glide.

    170g Lucid

I am mostly a forehand player and forehand players will love this. It provides a really comfortable forehand grip. Backhand is manageable but not perfect. Handles winds well.

It is my go to mid. Thrown flat and 60% power it glides beautifully, turning a tiny bit right (RHFH) and a predictable slight fade at the end. Thrown with a tiny hyzer, it can handle 100% power without turning over and producing a lazer straight shot. Great control for tunnel shots. Thrown with a slight anhyzer and 60% power drifts left for a while, but always comes back with a small fade at the end. Flat and anhyzer with 100% power turns over and hardly comes back. I'm planning to fill that slot with a Justice now.

I have adjusted my turn rating from 0 to -0.5 due to the fact that I can flip this flat full power. Also fade seems more like a 3 than a 4.

Overall still a great reliable disc with many uses.

When I first purchased my Verdict (Lucid, 170g), I was hoping for a very overstable meathook for use off the tee on a few 220' to 280' holes at my home course that require such a shot.  The verdict definitely fits that bill, but is not quite as overstable as I thought it would be.  Thrown hard and flat it holds a very straight line before fading out... I can actually get a lot more distance with it that I expected.  Absolutely not a bad thing... it has become my go-to mid... which says a lot because I also bag an Opto Compass and LOVE it.

Bottom line:  Great wind-fighting mid and a great disc for a flat 200-230' straight flight with a predicable hard fade at end of flight.  Great disc for short approaches too... thrown light it definitely has a hard, dumping fade.  Disc feels great in the hand, as well... very comfortable.  Haven't tried any other plastics yet, but very satisfied with the grip and durability of Lucid.

This is a great disc and flies very similar to the Buzzz, but is much more comfortable in the hand. This disc, however, does NOT fly like the flight number would lead you to believe... which doesn't matter at all, unless you're buying this disc based on that expectation. Otherwise a really useful disc. I prefer my mid ranges with less glide to cotrol my distances easier.

The verdict fits the bill exactly and after my first two rounds with it I decided to place it permanently into my bag. It is so so consistent and I can trust it to land next to the hole every time. Awesome disc that flies nice and straight with fade at the end. A touch more fade than the EMac truth, but not nearly as much as the justice. Love this disc.

I recently picked up a verdict after searching long and hard for a forehand midrange that woulday fly straight to overstate without turning over. I tried truths, eMac truths, compasses, bards, and justices before taking a recommendation for the verdict. The truths and compasses turned out of my hand while the bards and justices with their big beads were uncomfortable and would get caught on my finger when forehanding. Finally I found something that was exactly what I was looking for in the verdict. It's trusty fade and feel were perfect. Turned out to become one of my favorite band hand discs as well on shots when I needed more stability than my compasses. Perfect for stable up shots and drives where my harps fell short.

Grabbed a 177g lucid Verdict, and I'm really digging it.  Very consistent left fade, great for headwinds and is one of the few midranges I can flick consistently. If I put an anny angle on it, the disc rides out to the right just a tad before hanging a pretty hard left.  Reminded me a lot of a slightly beat in bard.

Not as stable as the numbers say.  It's a great disc but it's not the OVERstable mid I was looking for.  It's more like a stable EMac truth.  It has a reliable fade just not the overstable fade.

Was in my bag until I tried the Kastaplast Kaxe Z, which stole it's spot.

The Verdict has a permanent slot in my bag. It fills the overstable mid slot without being too overstable. The Verdict is perfect for flex shots and those in-between shots that are too long for a putter or mid, but too short for a driver. The Verdict can be thrown into the wind and you can always depend on it fading as it loses speed. No matter how hard I've thrown it, it always comes back with a healthy fade. The Verdict has a tendency for big skips on those long shots, but it isn't anything that can't be controlled once you learn its habits. The only thing the Verdict doesn't do well is turnover shots. If you're trying to use the Verdict for turnover shots, stop it. Don't blame the disc for not doing what it wasn't supposed to do!

I was skeptical of the Verdict at first. The factory numbers indicate that it's overstable. This may be true for beginners. But for most players, it's exactly what you're looking for. The Verdict is what I expected out of the Truth, good stability with dependable fade. The Truth is a little more understable than its numbers would have me believe. If the Truth isn't stable enough for you, the Verdict is.

The Verdict is the perfect combination of glide and stability. My max weight Verdict flies like a 5, 5, -0.5, 3. Coupled with an understable mid for turnovers, my midrange lineup is set.

A beadless Roc that seasons slower. I personally like beadless midranges better, they just fit more comfortable in my hand.  Great for backhand hyzers or sidearm up shots, this disc does it all.  I've started using this off the tee when I need something a little stronger than a Truth.  I've even flexed this through some wooded holes with pretty consistent success for my beginner skills, it always comes back.

Great reliable disc. Should do the same thing every time you throw it. I prefer this as a flick disc and the occasional hizer shot.

At this very moment, the Verdict is my absolute favorite disc. It found a permanent home in my bag after a single round of use. After a few more rounds, I had no Rocs left in my bag. I have two Verdicts, both in Lucid, and the heaviest weight available at the time ( I believe both are 176g).

I first discovered the Verdict when I was using Infinite Discs' advanced disc search. I was looking for something similar to my Roc3 that wouldn't turn over. I narrowed it down to a few discs. After a lot of research, comparison, and some field testing, the Verdict was the one.

This disc is so dependable and consistent, I would recommend it to absolutely anyone, even if they aren't looking for a disc like this: "Try the Verdict!" I can throw this disc as hard as I want and it has yet to turn over on me, even in slightly windy conditions. I can release it anhyzer and it will come back beautifully. In the wind it won't turn over, but it will stay on its line longer. All of this being said, the Verdict is definitely not an overly-stable mid-range for my arm speed. It has a beautiful strait flight on flat release, and an awesome fade.

The shape and feel of the Verdict in my hand is so much more comfortable than other similar mid-ranges. It also helps that I think Lucid plastic is a fantastic combination of grip and stiffness for this speed of disc. This is an absolutely perfect disc, and given the opportunity, I wouldn't change it at all. I can see the Verdict being in my bag forever, if not, a very long time. If you have a decent arm speed, and are looking for a reliable strait flying mid-range, try the Verdict. You will love it.

I picked this disc up recently to get a midrange that was a straight flyer with a stronger hyzer fade than a Buzzz or M3.  This was exactly what I was looking for.

It actually feels and looks a lot like a Buzzz, its a little thinner and a tiny bit wider perhaps (looking with just the eyes)

I have a Lucid 176g very flat top.  With power it does seem to turn a little bit and if you overpower it , it will turn over.  BUT, it does have a strong LSS hyzer fade.  I would not rate it as OS as the #'s say.  I'd more say 5/5/-.05/2.5 or something like that.

It is a GREAT compliment to a Buzzz, great for forehand midrange shots.  Not as meaty as a Buzzz OS or Justice, but still enough stability to handle what you face, obstacles/wind.  It's a VERY comfortable disc and is nice for power straight shots and hyzers that hold true.  Anhyzering this disc will flatten and straighten but not fade out too much.

Great Stable-Slightly OS midrange with a solid hyzer fade.   I dropped an M2 quickly for this disc...The M2 is just a bit different and closer to a Roc/Roc3, this is closer to a Buzzz in feel and flight style.  Still def more OS than a Buzzz

    ?

**Update: the disc seems to turn at high speed fairly easy making me not trust it as much.  The disc is fairly thin and just seems to bend understable fairly easy at speed.  It will hook up usually but many times it did not.  Other times it will hyzer out fairly deep.  Not as trusty as a Buzzz for me and not OS enough to cover Buzzz OS lines.  I think if they tweak the Verdict it would be a great disc

I have a 170 gram lucid verdict.  It feels great in the hand and flies pretty true to the inbounds flight path.  I can throw it full power into a headwind and it will finish fairly straight (depending on the wind strength).  I also use it when I want more fade than I get with my truth.  I have a fair amount of confidence in how it will fly, but it's role in my bag is fairly small so I can't say it's a much have.

My throwing specifics: I throw mostly at sea lelevel in moderate to high humidity. I have a high arm speed and I like to throw with a lot of spin and snap. I'm 6' 5" with an 80 in wingspan.

The verdict is a great os mid like the description suggests. I've thrown both fusion and lucid versions 180g. Both plastics are nice and tacky although lucid more so, as fuzion, tournament, and gold plastics can get sweaty in high humidity. Great feel to this disc: small rim size, almost no bead, flat top. Similar feel to a buzz, but with a slightly thicker and blunt edge (it is os of course). Disc goes straight with a healthy fade and is a great wind fighter. I'd say the flight numbers are quite accurate and fuzion has more glide of course, giving it a little less stability with a little more carry. After beat-in this disc pretty much holds onto it's flight path. The lucid version becomes like a new fuzion version and the fuzion goes even farther. Anyone who loves the feel of the buzzz and wants an os compliment should get this disc. Slightly less os than the drone with more carry and a smaller rim. This disc was my recovery driver of choice and my short range hyzer of choice until I picked up a westside harp. Both the harp and pure have kicked my mid ranges (verdict, fugitive) out of the bag because of their distance versatility.

Picked this up in the moonshine words to be my glow mid. Has become my os mid for distance. A great compliment to the suspect and truth. Is straight flyer that fades much harder than my truth. When too windy for most mids this flys great. Feels good in hand and has a great look at night when glowing. Again a nice straight flyer that u can count on to fade end of throw. as my arm has grown I still like this disc, but no longer bagging in favor of something more os. still a great disc though.

My Moonshine Verdict is a thing of beauty. The green glow plastic is pretty awesome, I mean it's green, and it glows! It really doesn't get much cooler than this. The Verdict has a good feel, a very flat top, and is definitely overstable. I generally like overstable midranges. Knowing that your disc will consistently fade to the safe side of things, when your straight throwing skills lack, is very comforting. The Verdict is a little bit too overstable for my liking for most midrange shots. Unless I throw it with full power, it immediately begins to hyzer out and fade.

If you're looking for a very overstable mid, this is a good one. It's really one of the best for forehand shots.  If your goal is a midrange that will go straight and then consistently fade, then this one might be a little to much in the stability department.
