The Verdict is a very overstable midrange designed to handle a lot of torque with accurate consistent flights. All Verdicts stamped either “Prototype” or “First Run – Prototype” are stamped with Truth on the back. The disc was originally to be released as the Truth, but that name was instead used for a “True” straight flyer.

Mine was an older run that was flat top and felt like a roc in my hand. I loved this disc till I lost it, and the new runs are domey and not as stable as the one I had. I had a fuzion 178 and it was an amazing disc. I first got it to be a compliment to my eMac and to have something to finish a little more left. As I grew as a player I started throwing this more and more than my eMac. It is a very dependable disc and I can't say enough good about it. I did not buy a new verdict to replace my lost one as the newer runs do not feel like my older run and from what I have been told are not as overstable as it was. The numbers though on this disc aren't exactly like it says either I found it to have more glide with just a hint of turn and not as hard as a finish fade as the flight rating showed. It has more glide than a 4 but not near what an eMac glide is which to me is closer to a 6. This is closer to a 5 glide and wasn't far behind an eMac when I would throw them side by side. I ended up with a 300 prodigy M1 to replace this and it flies just like my verdict did.

The Verdict is one of the best mids on the market.  I started with a 170g Lucid for all midrange forehand duties and have since replaced it with a 170g Fuzion.  My home course is wooded with rocks everywhere, so the Lucid beat in very quickly.  It still has reliable fade at the end of the flight, but turns a bit more than I want for that slot in my bag.  Thankfully the Fuzion has proven to be much more durable.

I wouldn't recommend it to beginners, but they're great for anyone with decent forehand power.  Like everyone else has said, they have great glide considering the stability rating, so I will use them for any forehand shots anywhere between 225 and 275.  I rarely throw them backhand, but when I do it's usually shorter spike shots or scrambling.

The verdict is an amazing midrange! For a long time the only midrange discs I carried were a fuzion verdict and a lucid truth. Both are incredibly versatile. The verdict starts off being quite overstable, but has a surprising amount of glide. After about a year of using it, it started to hold a straight line longer, but has always been faithful to finish on a hyzer. This is what makes it a great disc because it can handle a lot of power on a straight line without flipping or losing control. The feel of this disc in the hand is also amazing, it feels just like an emac truth, but flies more stable. Great disc for beginners to throw midrange spike hyzers, and is really workable as a go-to midrange for all other skill levels.

Fusion 178. First DD disc I've tried in premium plastic (Prime Truth) and will say I'd like to try more.

Terrific midrange. A dependable workhorse whether off the tee or in the fairway. Overstable enough to always be reliable yet stable enough to be workable, a go to midrange. It's not as overstable as the numbers suggest (almost 0 turn but 2-3 Fade) but still a very good offering and a great compliment to any understable mid you throw. It's not in the category of a Justice or a Drone so buyer beware if that's what you're looking for. I throw it when my Buzzz's can't take the wind or when I just don't have the confidence powering up another mid or fairway as much as needed.

Thrown flat and hard this disc rides straight for 80% of its flight followed by a moderate fade. The fade is penetrating, not crashing or dumpy. Mashed on anhyzer this thing can put out some incredibly long (for me 270-280ft) turnovers without flexing back out. I always trust it, even on angle, to have the stability to fight back to flat and stick the landing. It sill rides hyzer lines very well with moderate skips depending on angle. I can't put hyzers out as wide as my drone but it's also not as glidey or skippy so in all the verdict is easier to range. Doesn't seem to be able to take as much torque on forehand throws. Needs to be thrown on hyzer of with touch to net a really straight flight.

Feels comfortable in the hand, very similar to a Truth. Shallow enough for comfortable grip both forehand and backhand. Fuzion plastic is outstanding. Grip, flexability, stability, all excellent. Beats into good, consistent glide. I can get really good distance out of it purely on the confidence that it won't turn and burn even at (my) full power.

It most likely won't be the most overstable thing in your bag but if you use it for what it does well the Verdict is a very rewarding disc. If you bought it for these numbers (5,4,0,4) it probably won't get five stars. Just take the time to learn it and get comfortable with it and it will go places. Again, a great compliment to a Truth or a BuzzzSS/Comet and in general a very worthwhile buy.

This disc is my go to midrange for forehand throws. Like other reviewers, the disc does not seem to have as strong of a fade as the flight ratings would have you believe. The disc definitely hooks right (rhfh) at the end, but does not go too far right. For a frame of reference, I have only been playing for the past 4 months, but this disc is great for my forehands. My go to midrange for backhand is buzzz. Verdict allows more versatility in my bag until I am able to hyzer/anhyzer backhand accurately.

This disc is wide like a Roc3, and has that "heavy rim" feel like a Mako3. I use it exclusively for longer touch forehands. The disc is stable, but I can manipulate a little flex out of it pretty easily. This is the only midrange that I forehand, others I've tried don't feel quite right in my hand.

When I first started playing, this was my original overstable mid. I only used it for hyzer shots that needed to go hard left (RHBH). I eventually replaced it with other stable discs that would stay straight longer, but still finish left. Now that I have been playing a bit longer and my form has improved, the other stable midranges have started to become too straight and even a little bit flippy (buzzz/MD3) for the overstable slot. I just recently added the verdict back to my bag, and it is perfect! Thrown hard and flat or on a slight flex, it stays straight for most of the flight, with no turn, but then fades back slight left at the end. Thrown on a hyzer, it holds the line through the entire flight. It is not too glidey, so it is fairly easy to control distance and placement of the shot.

My 178g fuzion Verdict is a staple in my bag as my stable to overstable midrange. It's a little beat in by now but it flies just like my champion Thunderbird, but in midrange form. When thrown with some power, it holds it's line very well while slowly fading out like a midrange does. I also really like throwing this disc forehand since it handles power and torque pretty well. As long as the release is clean, it flies very straight with a dependable fade. I've also got a new lucid Verdict that is noticeably more stable than my fuzion. Just a great dependable midrange that you'll find yourself using pretty often.

Great and dependable midrange that can handle some power. I throw this 240ft every time, and I always know where it is going to finish.  Shallow disc than can handle being driven or used for upshots. Slightly stable to overstable depending on arm speed and plastic.

    This is my ace disc!

It is a great forehand disc and will fight to keep from turning over. I like it better than my justice because of the extra glide. Along with my Emac Truth, this and the Justice make up all of my mids.

Dynamic Discs makes great feeling and flying discs. I would definitely recommend the Verdict.

The DD Verdict is a nice disc; however, it didn't really do anything special for me. I found it extremely average in the field of stable midranges. I was hoping it would a little more stable than my roc3 but it was very similar and the roc3 is better IMO. I didn't really like it for forehand all that much either. The edge is sorta sharp and doesn't feel natural to flick. But that's just me, I'm sure lots of people can throw the verdict very nicely. beautiful disc, just not for me.

My most trustworthy driving midrange. Goes straight for about 180-200ft before finishing on a slight left fade. Only midrange with an ace in my bag!

Fusion 178g My flight # (6/4/0/3) This is a really fun disc to throw with a little extra hot sauce! Great for backhand and it's the only mid I've used that's comfortable to forehand. For those many players who bag a drone as their favorite midrange meat hook "like myself" that's the disc I have to best compare the verdict to that has the same flight rating. It definitely doesn't take the place of my drone, it's a little faster and has a little less fade. With it's shallow flight plate and smaller profile, in the hand it feels like a cross between mid & fairway. if you're looking for something longer than a drone but closer than a Felon, look no further.

Tried the verdict out after I heard a friend say it was kinda like a glidier hornet, which was one of my favorite mids. Bought a fuzion verdict at my local shop and it instantly found a permanent spot in my bag and became my go to disc for approaches. I now carry 4 verdicts in my bag and love this disc. Have had several near aces with verdict, both straight in and skip in.

After switching over to an EMac Truth and loving it I decided to try out this disc for the added stability for those windy days.  With my power level just now reaching 290' or so for my Truth, I was hoping this disc would still get me decent distance.  It didn't disappoint.  I own a 178g Fuzion disc and I probably only lose about 15-20'.  Really hard to tell as my form and consistency are a work in progress.  I get a nice straight flight out of this disc with a harder fade than the Truth.  I've thrown in moderate headwinds with no issues and it's definitely more turn resistant than my 180g Lucid EMac Truth.  I like flicking this disc too.  I'm a beginner when it comes to fore handing but I'm really starting to like this disc for flicks.

For comparison, this disc is more overstable than a Roc3 yet not quite as overstable as a Buzzz OS.
