The Verdict is a very overstable midrange designed to handle a lot of torque with accurate consistent flights. All Verdicts stamped either “Prototype” or “First Run – Prototype” are stamped with Truth on the back. The disc was originally to be released as the Truth, but that name was instead used for a “True” straight flyer.

First, I love the fuzion burst plastic, its a solid combo of grip plus its just slick enough to slide out of your hand on a power throw. I go back and forth on the Verdict for 3 reasons:

    1) its no where as stable as advertised, I'd say about a fade of 2-2.5 but a hidden turn of -1 maybe even -1.5 under full power.

    2) I have found that due to the hidden turn under power, I can use this disc to make long arcing flex shots, and flip up hyzer shots when sidarmed.

    3) At low power its very slow, this disc almost only likes to be thrown otherwise it just dumps and fades hard.  Now, that might be a bonus for some, but I have a short range super overstable disc for just that.

So, with all that, the Verdict does go in and out of my bag, but it is not a one trick pony, it has hidden secrets.

The Verdict is great for what it is: a workhorse overstable midrange. It's too stable for a mortal like me to get any real use out of it past needing the overstability. If it weren't for the Opto-X Compass, it would still be in my bag. I found it to be just a longer Slammer. I never got a ton of distance, but I could get it about 230' with a very reliable fade, even in the wind. On a forehand anhyzer, it wouldn't fade back as much as I would have liked and ended up cut rolling instead of landing flat and sliding unless it was a very slight anhyzer.

This disc is truly a thing of beauty. I can whip it, or finesse it around a tree. Regardless, it's so overstable that I know exactly where it is going to end up. I rely on this disc to shape several shots and I've only had it for less than a week.

I love my verdicts. They're my go to midranges for most shots requiring a midrange. They hold the line you out them on and have a nice fade at the end without being too overstable. The fuzion bursts also don't seem to have the huge skip when they hit that my regular fuzion verdicts have. Verdict also got me my first ace with a midrange
