    Disc - 177 Moonshine Truth

Feel - One of the best things about the trilogy mids is that they all have a similar feel with slightly different flights. This mid is fairly shallow and has a small bead. It is very comfortable in the hand.

Flight - The moonshine plastic makes most molds quite a bit more stable than those same molds in other plastics so this disc flies most like a fresh Emac truth. It has no turn and a decent fade but this disc goes so far. Many of the trilogy mids go further than many of the other mids I've thrown and are still very controllable. I bag the Emac truth over this just to cycle more discs through but if you like a hyzer flip mid out of the box I would try the truth over the Emac truth.

Overall - Great mid but fits in an interesting spot in the Dynamic lineup. Lots of speed and glide but still controllable in the woods.

The Truth is a straight-shooting midrange that is dependable and fun to throw.  Mine is Fluid Moonshine, and has a very flat top with a shallow rim.  This makes it very comfortable in the hand, and though I don't really have a reliable forehand with midranges, this disc is easy to forehand when needed.  The lateral movements on the Truth (both turn and fade) are subtle but helpful.  This makes it a little more forgiving than the Emac Truth (which I also have).

As with most Trilogy midranges, the Truth has excellent glide.  When I need a straight midrange shot with some distance, the Truth is what I go to.  I'm not a power thrower, so even when I give full power to this disc, it won't turn and burn.  That makes it a great choice for a controlled midrange shot with good distance.

    My disc:  Fluid Moonshine (179g)

I had a Fluid Moonshine Truth before I lost it. I never really clicked with it to begin with. It did a lot of things well, but not really anything spectacularly. Definitely a great introduction to midranges, but I still think I would recommend an Evidence for that spot.

There is nothing more special than a midrange you can trust with your more intimate secrets. This is her. She'll treat you right as long as you point her straight. I use the old style plastic moonshine which is more similar to the newer emac. Any line with great distance.

*The newer clear moonshine is different than the older opaque moonshine plastic. The newer runs are far less stable. It is slightly more stable than biofuzion but less than lucid/fuzion.

The Truth in Moonshine DD is pretty solid! The grip of the Truth is awesome, it is very comfortable in the hand. The Moonshine DD in my opinion makes this disc a touch more stable than all the other plastics the Truth comes in.

The stability of this disc is neutral leaning more to the stable side. It can be thrown on a straight line as the flight path and its numbers depict. It is exactly how it wants to fly. The Truth is good for hyzer lines and straight lines. Its not the best for an anhyzer line, I cannot get enough power behind it to keep it on the anhyzer line all the way till the landing on the ground, it always comes out and fades to the left (RHBH).

Throwing for distance is typical for a midrange. I have never measured the exact distance, and I have been pleased with the distance that I have thrown it. Almost always it goes where I need it to go, sometimes I do throw it past my mark and sometimes I throw it under.

Overall this disc is pretty awesome, I enjoy throwing it, it is easy to throw. I like it for the neutrality and slightly overstability of the Truth. It is easy to throw straight and get the needed distance that I need.

I think the Truth is a fantastic, very versatile mid-range. My Truth is in Moonshine, but I have thrown Fuzion, Lucid, and Fluid and liked them all equally. I purchased Moonshine in hopes it would provide a little more stability, but it flies very similar to the rest. I always look for maximum weight in my mid-ranges, so mine is 176g, even though they can be found heavier.

The Truth is one of the farthest flying mid-ranges I have ever thrown. On an average day I can get the Truth a good 350 feet out (give or take a bit depending on conditions), and it's comparable to a lot of my fairway drivers in distance. For the most part, the Truth provides a good strait flight with a relatively light fade at the end. If I really crank on the Truth, it will turn over on me and ride an anyzher line for some time. Although, with enough time and height, the Truth will flatten out in most flights.

Right now some of my favorite, and most used, mid-ranges are the Truth, Verdict, Mako3, Justice, and Gator. The Truth is kind of my "neutral" mid-range, and very shapeable. I can casually throw this disc and have it fly perfectly strait an easy 320 feet. I also have to consider the Truth's distance when compared to my other mid-ranges. Because of this I use it mostly for drives, and long up-shots. It's also a great disc for hitting tunnels.

The Truth is a fairly good disc for beginners, although with a lower arm-speed it may be a little more stable. If you haven't tried a Truth, I recommend you pick one up. I have fallen in love with most Trilogy discs I have picked up, especially the mid-ranges.

Actually mine is moonshine but this is my new driving mid for holes around 300. Birdied with a drop in on a 288 today. Has broke In with just a hair turn with straight flight and not too much fade now. This disc flyes straighter than any disc ive thrown including most putters. A little too long for me to always approach with but at the right distance, this is an awesome disk to have handy. this disc is great I have 4 now. I find the fuzion to have a little more turn out of the box so that may be a better option for new players
