Got mine in a starter set and out of the box, a bit more OS than the flight numbers say. At the time, I already had a stable mid, so I just went to a huge rock and beat the crap out of it and turned it flippy real quick. It is now my US mid and is great. The one thing I don't like is the feel, but I can get past that.

I was given a Truth in Prime plastic for Christmas. This disc in my opinion is great for beginners. It flies very straight and can be used for short tunnel shots. It is a great disc for forehand flex shots. I think it fades a bit more than the flight numbers say. On backhands, for me at least, it fades to the left quicker than most other mid-ranges I have tried out. I gave it 4 stars because it is not the most comfortable disc to throw. I don't really like how the rim feels in the hand with the Prime Truth.

After picking up a Classic Blend Judge in a bargain bin and having it change my disc golf game, I went and bought a Classic Truth from the same bin and it completely changed my midrange game!

In all honesty I only used this mold for about 2 weeks before it started getting flippy on me, and I decided to replace it with Emac Truths due to the added stability.  However, the quality of this disc completely sold me on the Dynamic Disc midrange line.  It started a straight shooting erring on the side of stable disc and now is a straight shooting erring on the side of understable disc.  Though I use my Emacs for 90% of my midrange shots now, I still keep this in my bag for sharp anhyzer lines that don't sweep as much, as well as for flat to understable lines.  I would say OVERALL the Emac Truth is a more reliable disc, but this definitely still has its merits and is the perfect solution for newer or weaker players who can't utilize an Emac to full potential.

The Truth just doesn't come close to its competitors, Roc3 and Buzzz. For me, the Truth likes to "dance" a little too much in the air, especially against a headwind. I can make a Roc3 go pretty straight for at least 200 feet, and I just never felt confident enough in this disc to trust anywhere but a fairway. I also think it fades harder than the flight numbers suggest. But I was throwing Prime plastic, which could have contributed to my experience.

Nevertheless, I do not think the Truth is a bad disc. Just not for me.

I used a starter pack Shark for a year thinking that other than the super stable novelties, midranges were all the same.  Boy was I wrong.  This disc is amazing.  It will fly exactly the way that you let it go for everything except driving and even there it might surprise you.  If I could only use one disc this would be it.

I also have the Emac edition that's a bit more stable and I like a bit more for longer shots, but less forgiving up close.

What can I say that hasn't been said. If you had to play with 1 disc for a round this would be it. If you had to pick 1 midrange to use, this would be it. I personally have a few truths, but carry the cheapest Prime plastic in my bag. Why? The grip! This disc is an incredibly straight flier, and will hold the line you put it on. Nice fade back but nothing over-stable. I find this much more comfortable to throw than the various Roc's I have thrown. This disc is similar to the Buzzz, another fan favorite. There is a good deal of variation with the types of plastics offered....Prime will beat in nicely fairly quickly. Lucid will be more overstable, and Fuzion will give you more reliabilty over the life of the disc. All recommended, but pick up a Prime for 8 bucks if you are wondering for yourself!
