I was gifted an emac truth for Christmas and I have grown to love it. I'm  Typically not a big fan of trilogy stuff, but the truth has worked well for me. It has a lot of glide and a reliable but not too strong fade at the end. I would say it flies like a seasoned roc3 with a tad more glide. The only gripe I have with this disc is the plastic. if the disc or my hand get way the plastic is very slick and hard to get a grip on. Even when the disc is dry I don't like to throw it forehand just because of how slick the plastic is. I've had it slip out of my hands a few times.  That said, It gives me exactly the flight I'm looking for so it is my go to for stable midrange backhand shots. I have a beat in champ roc3 that I typically use in the truth's stead for forehand shots.

The Truth was my 'go-to' mid range for a long time, consistent and also provided a variety of uses. You can throw long and straight either with a flex play or with a hyzer flip-up, and relatively easy to do due to its glide. I used this disc as a new player and it provided me with my max distance throws, further than any drivers I had.

If you release on an anny with power it'll hold as well. You can manipulate this disc for most midrange shots. Several manufacturers make discs very similar ot this (likely sam flight ratings too), but the Truth has been my favorite. I'd say compared to the other similar discs the truth has a bit more glide and the +1 fade does a better job at preventing the disc from turning over completely.

The DyeMax plastic I had was a Captain Ameriac shield, always epic to thow it. And other than that, it was one of the most durable discs I have owned and at the same time providing perfect grippiness for a midrange.

    Highly recommend to everyone.

I have an Dyemax Emac Truth that I received in a players pack from the Hazy Shade BYOP in Dayton, Ohio and I was going to leave on the wall as a collector disc but I did some field work and threw the disc and immediately put it in my bag. The length of this midrange is very impressive. I throw this longer than some of my fairway drivers. This also goes much straighter than my fairway drivers. It does have some high speed turn and a gentle fade. This disc will be great for long tunnel shots. This disc will also hold anny and hyzer lines all the way to the target. Nice disc.

    The New Buzzz?

As a Roc guy, I prefer my mid-ranges to be beaded. Nevertheless, my daughter picked up a max weight DyeMax Truth for our local 2-Disc Challenge from Dynamic Discs. Of course I had to throw it.

While the feel both on the rim and the top is different than the Discraft Buzzz, I have to say it throws exactly like a Buzzz. I can understand now why all the Trilogy-heads out there hype up the Truth. It is very straight, with mild fade and a good resistence to turn. I even found forehanding it to be quite easy. I would like to get more in depth, but honestly, if you've thrown a Buzzz, you've thrown a Truth. If you prefer DD's plastic blends, or are just really loyal to Trilogy, the Truth is your go-to midrange. Period.
