This disc is so good for short approaches. I like to throw my approaches flat and straight, and this disc shines for that and always sits right next to the basket. I occasionally throw the Judge for short drives and occasionally putt with it, but I mostly use my Wizard for putting which is a similar disc. All in all, great disc, and has been consistent so far.

Can't beat this putter in my opinion! I've been playing consistently for 5 years and have switched a lot of discs. I have tried all kinds of putting putters but nothing has beat out the judge for me. It is amazing! I love the feel in hand, I love the bead, and I love the stability. I prefer these a little beat in and once they're there they are just perfect. I also have this disc in lucid and it makes a great driving putter! Dead straight with a slight fade at the end. When thrown smoothly, you can put a lot of power behind it and it won't turn over on you.

Received one in a misprint mystery box and loved it! The bead slots perfectly into my first digit and provides a near perfect reference point for grip and release point. I've found it great for push putting but have yet to get a clean release on spin putts

I would suggest this disc for absolutely any beginner. They are great for putting and throwing and beat really well. They are a great option as well to stock up and get a bunch of them to practice with. I have used the same one for about a year and a half and still absolutely love it for putting, it is flippy now so I do use it less as a throwing putter but I can get it to flip to flat on a very straight hole.

    Prime Judge

Overall, a great disc. I have pulled it in and out of my bag as my putting putter multiple times. I have really enjoyed using it as a throwing putter for shots that I didn't need to throw exceptionally hard. It may turn and not come back if over throw it, or if your form isn't great.

If you have not settled on your putter, I highly recommend it. I do not putt with it, but it wasn't beat out by much. I also don't bag it to throw, but it wasn't beat out by much. If I could only take one putter onto the course for some reason, this would probably be it (or possibly my proxy). It has a great glide for putting, fights the wind pretty well, and feels solid in the hand. It works for backhand throws and is nice for touch FH upshots as well.

Goodness gracious this thing is so straight. I have not thrown a straighter putter than the Judge. If you want a point a shoot approach disc, this is it. My only issue is that they don't come in premium plastics so if you play in the woods, this disc will die and you will need a new one pretty quickly. But it is worth it.

Hands down, favorite disc, let alone putter.  The Judge feels great in the hand, has a nice bead for lining up putts and has wonderful glide when thrown from the tee box.  I would recommend this as THE starter disc for anyone picking up the game.  The prime plastic holds up pretty well--you'll still get some knicks and dings if you hit any rocks, but otherwise it has a nice tacky feel and beats in consistently over time.

The first disc I was given when introduced to the sport was a Judge, and it has been in my bag ever since. Where most beaded putters have a healthy fade and deep feel, the Judge is shallow and holds straight. Excellent for spin putts, as well as a point-and-shoot approach disc.

The judge is a fantastic disc. Very straight putting path from inside circle 1. I got this disc because of all the great reviews. It lives up to the hype. I have about 10 of these in the prime plastic. I bag 2 for the course (never know what'll happen) and keep the rest at home for practice putting sessions.

The judge is a very good do it all type of putter. What I mean by do it all is you can own two judges and you will be set for all types of shots as well as outside and inside the circle. I personally did not love the judge for putting but that really is a very feel and just individual criticism. It is a beloved putting putter for many people and it will not let you down if you enjoy putting with it. If you need an outside the circle putter the judge is also great for that. I personally found the judge to shine on approaches and driving off of the tee. I am a big putter thrower and I love throwing them off the tee on wooded courses where control and accuracy are needed. The judge is a perfect straight flying disc with some nice fade at the end of the flight when it is brand new. I have thrown a beaten in judge that flips up nicely and will even ride an anhyzer if you throw it on anhyzer. You cannot go wrong with throwing judges for straight approach shots or tee shots or on a little hyzer and let it just glide nicely to the left with a consistent and reliable amount of fade. If you get the judge in a few plastics you will have every shot you need from a throwing putter. All around the judge is one of the most useable putters on the market and will help some aspect of your game.

The Judge is a great putter disc for just about any skill level!

I love the way it fits my hand and it has a true and straight flight path with just a little fade at the last moment.

I tend to reach for my Judge whenever I'm making those placement shots that are a little too far to be a putt into the chains.

I personally believe that the judge is one of dynamic discs best putters and if you are on the fence you should definitely grab one. Plus, they're really not expensive so do you even have an excuse?

The Judge is one of the best putters ever made, if the triforce from the Legend of Zelda were comprised of disc golf putters (Which is a fever dream thought, I know, but bear with me) it would be the Discraft Luna, Innova Aviar, and Dynamic Judge. This, for me, is the best out the three. It feels most like a putter, and I absolutely adore the flat top of the disc which challenges the US Post Office for rightful claim to their motto, "Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds." Yes, that's the full unofficial motto. I had to look it up. I love the heavy weights, too, which forces the power out of the player and once again proves valuable year round. This is one of the relatively few discs which tends to be quite popular with a wide range of skill players. Not a whole lot more to say. It's good. Buy it.

    PROS: Perfect career-long putter.

CONS: I don't know if they were after a law and order (DUN DUN) or cowboy (Yee, and I cannot stress this enough, Haw) theme with the name.

175g Prime Burst.  Good putter.  Consistent.  Predictable.  Handles varying release speed well.  Can be used from the tee pad (if it makes sense to do so).  It has more fade than I would like, though.  I definitely prefer Viking Rune, Dynamic Discs Marshal, and Discraft Focus more (in order of preference).  The only other putter I have tried is the Innova Rhyno and I definitely prefer Judge to it.  Dynamic Discs base ("prime") plastic is one of the better base plastics.

As a former ultimate player, I started out telling myself I'd never like beaded discs. I tried numerous beadless putters looking for the right one. I started with the Aviar, but it just didn't feel perfect and it was a bit deep for upshots. Next I tried my luck at Discraft with the lower profile Jawbreaker Roach. The Roach felt good in my hand and is a solid approach disc, but I just never had much success putting with it.

Jump ahead and I decided to pickup a Prime Judge misprint since it was cheap and everyone seems to love it. As soon as the disc arrived I was impressed by the feel of DD baseline prime plastic, it just a lot stickier, more like XT or Jawbreaker plastic. The disc still feels foreign in my putter grip due to the bead, but I was determined to give it a chance. After playing a round I was really impressed; it was the first time since I started that I had confidence while putting. I still rimmed out a couple putts, but overall I was much more efficient. I did notice that the prime plastic scuffs up quickly from hitting the chains, so I'll be looking to upgrade to Classic Blend to continue my role on team Judge. I may still try the Warden at some point to give it a try.

Not a fan. The judge in a prime plastic is just not the right feel. Not for approach and pretty good whenever you're about 10 ft away from the basket. I think the judge is a good disc but not in the prime plastic. Go for the classic, you'll get much more control within the disc.

This is a great putting putter. The Prime plastic feels great in the hand and doesn't wear too quickly. I find that they come out of the hand clean and fly well for my push and spin putts.

I don't like the judge for an approach disc. The rim shape doesn't give me a confident grip when I don't use my fan grip but for anything within 70 feet, this is an excellent disc.

This putter is straight money!!! Either putting or throwing this disc is dead straight. I bag two Prime Judges for putts inside 60 ft. or so just bc they tend to hyzer out a little early past that distance, but it could just me not giving it enough pop. The prime plastics do have a lil bit of action once they hit the ground, but not too much. My Judges have a crazy amount of glide.

I bought the Judge on a whim in Prime plastic, and soon followed with the Classic.  As soon as I threw it, I knew immediately this was the putter I wanted to practice with and make my own.    The Prime in my opinion flies extremely straight on shots up to around 200 ft.  Once I put a bit more power on it, it seems to turn over a bit faster than the classic plastic.  If you're in the market for a putter, definitely give this a chance.

The Judge is a beaded neutral flying putter from Dynamic Discs. The feel of the Prime plastic is nice and tacky in my hand. The profile of this disc is somewhat similar to a shallow feeling Wizard. The flight is rather neutral and really goes where you throw it. I was able to put this on any line off the tee and on upshots, and it held pretty straight inside the circle. Even though it is neutral, it does hold up okay to some power and wind. The Judge is a great putter from Dynamic.

Great putter, but for some reason i tend to gravitate towards others... To be fair, I'm still a beginner and haven't used it a ton.

PROS: The shape of this putter is very comfortable. It flies consistently and flies FAR. This putter is great for drives for shorter par 3's. A nice gentle backhand right down the fairway will give you a beautiful glide and fade to the left (for RHBH). It doesn't fade nearly as much as an Aviar, for comparison.

CONS: I have nothing bad to say about this disc, other than: The Prime plastic is a bit to dense for my taste. It just doesn't have much grippiness to it. I prefer different type of plastic for putting. HOWEVER, for driving off of a tee pad, this plastic works great.

This is a great putter that everyone should try out. It definitely holds it's own vs the Aviars and Challengers of the world.

Prime putters are awesome for driving!

I initially got this disc at a course opening, but it surprisingly found a place in my bag! The prime plastic is stiff as a board and really great to jam on. I go back and forth between looking beaded putters, but when I'm in the mood this is a charm.

Ive tried so many putters and this is the one thats stuck!  Ive used Prime and Classic Blend, but right now, the Prime has it working for me.  A touch of stability works well with my putting style, and I really like the small bead on this putter.  I would be lost without the Judge in my bag!

the Judge is always a favorite of veteran players at my home course. I had to pick one up and see how I liked it.

Right out of the box it was a great straight putter, and a trusty driver. I found this to be a bit too floaty once it was broken in, and I ended up moving to a Westside Crown, which has a very similar feel for both putting and driving. I never fell in love with the Judge, but it is still in my rotation for practice putters.

The Prime Judge has recently taken over the "putting putter" spot in my bag. I love the tacky feel and stiffness that Prime plastic has. The Judge feels great in the hand and has a consistent flight on putts. For jump putts I'm able to rely on it finishing overstable as it slows in speed.

After 2 years and 2 different molds, I have settled on the Prime Judge as my go to putter. Anything from 60 ft in I am running. I have put in tons of hours and I have come to putt like Cam Todd and set marker and fire.

The Judge is MONEY. I have improved to 85% in the circle .  Results may vary but for me the Judge closes the holes for me.

OVERALL.  Outstanding all around putter.  If you could own just one disc for putting and approach, this would be the one.  My 173g Judge in Prime plastic was one of the first discs I bought as part of a starter set, along with the Witness and Evidence.  I quickly outgrew the other two discs, but I grew into the Judge.  Probably the best, most predictable disc I have in my bag.

FEEL/LOOK:  The Judge is a beaded putter.  Unlike some beaded putters, though, the junction between the bead and the bottom of the ring is fairly wide and produces a very nice, comfortable groove for your index finger.  The outside rim of the Judge is rounded and fits well between your thumb and index finger.  While the rim on the Judge has decent height, the top of the disc is fairly flat and not as domey as the Wizard, P1X, or Aviar.  Prime plastic is Dynamic Disc's base plastic.  Its grippy but not that durable. My Judge has held up fairly well and I really like the grip of Prime.  Prime plastic also feels a little stiffer than some of the other plastics DD offers.  I've tried the Judge in Lucid and Fusion and, while I like those plastics for other discs, I prefer Prime for the Judge.  Durability is a non-issue for me as you can find a Judge in Prime for $6-8.

PERFORMANCE.  The Judge is a very predictable performer.  The 4-glide rating is accurate and helps out both with long putts and approach shots.  After about 20ft, the Judge produces a predictable fade every time.  Putting, its generally straight as an arrow.  I found the fade on approach shots is more around 1.5 than as advertised.   However, the fade is very predictable and allows you to make very accurate approach shots 200ft and in.  I also use it on some of the shorter Par 3s and can easily drive up to about 240 ft. with it.  Along with the Judge, I use the Spike for close range putts and the Swan for turn and straight approach shots.  If I could have only one putter, though, it would be the Judge.  Its an outstanding all-around putter.

This is a great driving putter. It holds the line consistently and has good glide. I have it in Prime plastic which has good but not great grip but isn't that durable. One of the first times I took it out the basket took a good chuck out of the rim. I will probably be getting it in a higher grade plastic once it gets too beat up.
