I got mine used so it was beat in a bit already, but that has worked pretty well for me. At this point it flies more like my newer Construct, though maybe a bit straighter, actually. I get very satisfactory distance out of it. The plastic has a good feel to it and seems to be reasonably durable. The metallic look and swirled pattern make the disc look kind of cool, though the color scheme of mine is a bit unfortunate -- brown & green, which can make it harder to spot if not out in the open, and when the daylight starts fading. I have few Discraft discs, but I do rather like the raised name and brand text on the inside of the rim: It adds an extra degree of grip to the disc when desired, which can be helpful in wet (or hot & sweaty) conditions.

I was pleasantly surprised by this disc, especially in the Titanium Swirl 2020 Ledgestone run. If you feel that the Anax may be a bit too overstable for you, I highly encourage you to look into the Vulture. It is a very reliable disc that I know I can crank on to go extremely far and extremely straight with very reliable fade at the end of the flight. I get considerably more reliable flights and distance out of this disc compared to my Anax. Go get one and see for yourself!

The TI Swirl Vulture is a very far-flying, straight disc right out of the bag. I can get this thing to go just about as far as some of my 12 speeds. It's very stable and will fly straight for very long, with a nice soft fade at the end. It reminds me of my beat up Thunderbird that I lost a while ago.
