From what I can tell I think the vulture I got is pretty stable. When worked in I think it will throw closer to the true flight numbers, but I also play at altitude so that could affect it a bit. I can get it to stand up and ride, but can't get any turn out of it without forcing it over. I think this disc is great, but until I get it beat in a little more I likely will be switching it out. From what I have seen though, mine is the exception, especially to the other vultures I have thrown.

Very reliable and controllable disc for faster arm speeds. Would be a pretty overstable disc for slower arm speeds. This is not quite as over stable as a raptor

I was hoping this would be more stable than the Anax but I feel this disc is even more overstable than the Anax. It has a domier top than the Anax and a less aggressive edge and rim. However, it feels beefier than the Anax. I am looking forward to this disc getting beat in, but right now, it was not what I am was looking for.

Fade should be closer to 4, and I feel like it is slightly slower than a 10 speed.

I found my very first vulture with no name on it and I have fallen in love with this mold ever since. I can always trust this disc to fly straight with just a slight fade toward the end. I would recommend this disc to anyone and everyone.

I own more Vultures than any other disc. It's that good. It's perfect versatile driver for almost any shot off the tee. It has enough stability to fight at least moderate head wind and it's glide gives it good distance potential. It's comfortable for both back hand and forehand drives making it my most used driver.

I purchased this disc as an ESP misprint although I'm fairly certain it's actually Z line plastic, but anyways -

This is definitely a good flat-to-fade fairway/distance driver. It throws like a longer Teebird or Thunderbird. It exhibits only a *slight* amount of turn, but remains virtually flat until its terminal fade. I'd say this is a good alternative if you find Thunderbirds too overstable (and it's a little flatter to boot)

The vulture is a disc that I favor over others as a control driver. I really use this disc on a backhand although a forehand can work with this disc too. It holds a line in the air then really fades as the disc is overstable. If you are looking for a fairway that can curve to a good spot I suggest the Discraft Vulture in either an ESP or a Z. This disc is very useful on windy occasions so it comes handy whenever wind starts blowing during a round of disc golf. This disc is in my bag and would be a good practice for hyzers and angle control when making turns.

When I bought this disc, I was hoping it would be like a Thunderbird, it felt great in the hand but it seemed alittle more stable than what I was looking for.

Absolutely my favorite disc, I use it for almost every tee shot that would call for a driver.  Very controllable and I get almost as much distance from these as I do my faster drivers.  I currently bag 4 of them.  I carry a Z, big Z, and two in ESP.  They are amazing.

This is my favorite fairway driver alongside another Discraft offering (the Undertaker) and the FD.

The Vulture is  a moderately overstable driver with a short, consistent fade. On a flat release, it will go straight for 80-85% of the flight before fading left fairly hard but short. It is more forward penetrating than side-to-side. A hyzer will most likely just follow the line unless you really crank on it for a flip-up before that same finish. An anhyzer will follow the line for a while before fighting out .

I love this disc in most situations, but it really shines on straight fairways lines. It’s just a workhorse fairway driver combined with a more understable one. Perfect for when you need controllable lines you want the disc to follow. It really slices through the air sort of like distance drivers but a touch slower and, once again - this cannot be overstated - extremely reliable. I would be comfortable using the disc in a headwind. Beginners will find this disc too overstable. Intermediate players such as myself will find it incredibly useful depending on form, and I imagine many pros will be bagging it next year.

I think the Vulture was a great addition to the Discraft lineup. In the hand it has a feel of Predator a little bit, but it is not nearly as overstable. I have heard a lot of people compare its flight to the old X Predators that are no longer in production. For me, the Vulture flew a lot like a good Teebird. It has a long straight flight with dependable fade at the end. It flew about the same distances for me as well. If you were looking for something that could turn into your workhorse control driver, the Vulture might be what you need.

The ESP Vulture is a great control driver. It's comparable to a Thunderbird but with a little more glide. I use mine for BHs in slight-moderate winds but it really excels as a FH placement driver. I get a little wiggle to the right and a nice fade on my FHs (~330'), very accurate and the rim feels great in the hand

I first heard of this disc a few months ago at one of my local courses.  Once I tried one I had to get a couple for myself.  My bag is primarily Innova/Discmania so I had thrown the thunderbird and the PD before and I was told the Vulture was similar.  From the 3 ESP Vultures that I purchased and now have in my bag I can agree with that.  They fly very straight with a reliable finish.  I've used thunderbirds, PDs, CD-2s and these ESP Vultures fly very similar.  Like a more stable CD-2 but not as stable as a PD.  They have become my favorite control drivers and I have only bagged them for a few days.  I played a round with them and I was using these more than my destroyers.  They fly really far and they are very controllable.
