This disc is not easy to throw if you are starting out or have a weaker arm. This disc is crazy overstable for me and is very useful for a utility disc. I use it when I need to scramble and really bend it around a tight corner or if I want to do a high spike hyzer that gets up and over obstacles and will just stick by the pin. I enjoy throwing it but would not recommend for a beginner simply because of how overstable it is and how much arm power you need to get it to do what you want.

This disc is crazy overstable, I do not have the biggest arm so this disc hyzers all the time. I really think at my current distance a new Big Z Predator is too overstable for me. I can throw this thing maybe 200 ft and if I throw a really big spike hyzer. I could not get a super long and large flight out of a turnover flex shot but I hear that a lot of people love this disc for that shot. I like throwing straighter discs on hyzer rather than going for a super overstable disc. I can see this disc being a super useful utility disc for me but I do not think it will fit into my bag. If you have a big arm and like overstable discs pick yourself up a predator because this disc feel super nice in the hands and it can be thrown super well with the right armspeed.

Not super impressed with this disc. Really thought it would fill my forehand fairway driver spot but just couldn't get a very clean release with it. I also dont like how domey it is but could just be the disc I got. On the positive side it s great for headwinds and big spike hyzers but just not a huge fan of how it feels and just couldn't get a consistent flight out of it.

The Predator is one of my absolute favorite discs. I currently bag three of them, a Ledgestone Cryztal for super overstable duties, a lighter Elite Z for more straight shots, and a max weight Big Z for shots in between those other two. I like this disc because it handles headwinds really well, and is perfect for overstable shots, but it is still workable. They season very nice if you are patient and get longer and straighter with wear. Just an awesome disc from Discraft.

Very reliable..  not a flat top but not domey.  Skips good.  More stable than a firebird.   I throw 350-400.  Love this side arm it’s my go to for 320 and in

I'll probably get some negative feedback, but for me, the Predator is a Discraft version of a Firebird. While they aren't exactly the same, they fly similar. The Pred feels a bit more sharp on the edges, and more of a flat top, but if I throw a line with my Firebird in practice, I can usually follow it up with Predator and throw the same line. I would say that my 175g Predator has a little less glide than my Firebird and will drop quicker.

I do really like that my Predator has what I call a "grip strip" on the inner rim. It's a patterened etching of the plastic that gives my fingers grip when I forehand this disc. I really wish other manufactures would add this to their other discs.

I use this disc for forehands primarily, or a low skip shot. I will throw the Pred on a thumber shot to go further than my Orc. It's a very reliable disc.
