    Great utility meathook.
I prefer the raptor for an overstable fairway because it's more workable, but the predator definitely has it's place. They couldn't be more different discs. They feel completely different in the hand.

One reason I don't use the predator in my main overstable slot and only as utility is because of the grip inside of the rim. I love the grip inside of the rim but it is strange if you are not use to it. It is uncomfortable or even slightly painful at first but allows you to rip the disc confidently.

The predator does one thing only and it does it well. Fade straight to the ground. Everyone needs a disc that does just this.

I got this disc to fill my OS fairway slot, and it fills that slot well. This disc performs like a longer Buzzz OS which I enjoy because I love the Buzzz OS. The disc feels best forehand, especially because of the little patch of cross-hatching inside the rim to give some grip on forehands, however it feels fine backhand too and I use it for both. Thrown on a hyzer, this disc will stick to it hard and won't get too much distance but there is no fear of it turning over or flipping up. Thrown flat it'll ride straight for a surprising distance and then dump hard. On an anhyzer release, this disc will ride the anhyzer for a little less than half the flight and then turn back over and finish OS. Great utility disc for intermediate to advanced players, but beginners shouldn't have any use for it.

I have grown to love this disc. I believe it's a sidearm-lover's dream, but it's also a back-hand lover's dream too if you allow it to be. If you're stuck in a bind and the pin is far, the Predator is your friend. Tomahawk it or Thumber it out of the woods and you'll get a reliable result. If there's a decently far dog leg left hole, you'll want to pull out the Predator. Putting it on a hyzer line, it will fade like no other while still remaining in the air and not dumping too quickly. The same goes for sharp right turns. What most surprised me about this disc is that on long left shots, it flies pretty straight for a while before having a hard left turn. The Predator is always in my bag, and I use it on almost every course.
