When I first got the Elite X Nuke (very domey) it was too OS for me. As I beat it in I got these long beautiful S-curves out of it, bu that only lasted a short period of time. Shortly after it started turning over. So I would put hyzer on it and it wouldn't stand it. It just had too narrow a window, It either turned over or held a hyzer. I had to get the perfect amount of power, wind conditions and release angle to get it to hyzer flip or S-shot. When it did though, boy howdy, it was by far my longest disc. It was just too finicky for me.

I also have a flat top Nuke in ESP plastic and it's just too OS for me even though it was gifted to me beat in. (I throw about 320 consistently, 360 max)

I love the flight and distance of the Nuke if you can get it to work right.

I got my Nuke Elite X (165g) from a "mystery box of misprints" I ordered from Discraft.  I like this disc because of the wide rim.  When I hold it in my hand, it just feels like something I can launch.  Most of the time I can let this thin rip pretty far, however, my particular disc is a little light and I have seen it turn over and sail WAY right on occasions... especially on windy days.

The next Nuke I purchase will be a max weight Elite Z version because I like my discs heavy and I like the grip, feel, and durability of the Elite Z plastic.  However, for the deal I got on my mystery box, this was a good disc to throw and learn some things about.

I wish I would have stumbled onto the Elite X Nuke sooner. This thing is a MONSTER distance maker. Just like Caleb said its domey and kinda stiff and GLIDES! I am getting average 425-450 ft. drives with it and I consider myself more of a 375 average distance thrower. One thing to mention in the case of my X Nuke is that it has almost 0 fade for me. It just holds the line and bombs! Buy it! Its Cheap!

I love this disc, the grippy X plastic is perfect feel in the hand and the X Nuke has a more dome top to it then i have seen with other pastics. If you are looking for some extreme distance this disc is for you!!! Just the other day I took my X Nuke out to an open feild and got my longest drive yet 455.5 feet and im sure with a little more practice I will be reaching that beastly 500 foot mark with this disc soon.

Also this disc has a very wide rim, I have big hands so it feels good in my hand, but for some it can be a little hard to grip. if you are having that problem then I suggest checking out an Avenger, it has a smaller rim easy to grip and you can rip it far too!

First, I have had some of my longest throws with my X Nuke. However, I cannot seem to develop ANY consistency with it. Whether its because I am rarely able to throw fast enough for the disc to work with me, or because of the wide rim, I have trouble with grip lock and also early release. For those reasons I try not to throw my nuke on the course but keep throwing it for fun in the field practicing my driving.
