My son recently got a Ti Flex version of the Flick. I thought it would be far too overstable for him to make much use of it (he's 10), but he LOVES this disc and is finding lots of ways to use it. It's a great forehand disc as it's very flat topped, and since it's in a very low weight (low 150's) it's not as over stable as some of the other plastics probably are. The Ti flex feels like Gstar plastic so it's got great grip and flex to it!

When he throws it flat, it flies straight as an arrow and then has a reliable heavy fade at the end of the flight. This disc would make for a great woods disc for flare skips, shot shaping, and flex shots.

My son Ty loves it so much, he's looking to pick another one up just in case he ever loses this one.

I have 2 of these, one in Titanium and 1 in ESP. I typically throw in the 350 range for backhand drives, and around 300 for a good forehand. First, this is not the most overstable disc I have thrown. That honor belongs to the MVP Energy. Not sure how anyone throws that disc. This disc IS really good for my forehands. It has enough overstablity to resist the increased spin rate of a powerful forehand without turning over. It does give me a bit of turn if I put it on a bit of anhyzer, which is what I needed. It still fades back strongly. Compared to my new 162g Star Ape, the Flick is more stable. It is less stable than my 172g Champion Ape. Compared to the MVP Tantrum This is just a bit more stable. I throw the Tantrum level on a forehand whereas this gets thrown with a bit of anhyzer.  One bit issue I have with this disc is the shape of the rim. If I use my normal forehand grip, the knuckle of my right index finger tends to get caught under the rim and it tries to rip the skin off my knuckle when I throw it. I can adjust my grip so that it works, but I don't always remember. I don't have that problem with the Tantrum. If that is not an issue for you, this is a fantastic poser forehand disc. If you don't have that shot, it is not something you are likely to need.

This disc is phenomenal for spike hyzers or just something that you need an absolute meat hook for. I use this mainly for a forehand disc and it fits well into my hand. I only use it when I want to really spike something close and not have it skip away from the basket. This disc is insanely overstable I have never been able to get this to hold an anhyzer line for a reliable time and don't see a reason to. This isn't a disc you pick up for maximum distance. Use it for a utility forehand or something you need a bit of touch rather than super speed. It fights the wind well because of the extremely flat profile. I enjoy this disc I just have yet to find a use for it other than 200-300 foot forehands. Works well as a situational disc but not one I carry regularly. Would not recommend for beginners due to the overstablity.

As soon as this disc leaves your hand it wants to get down to the ground and skip.  I would put it in the Stiletto / Spirit category.  If that type of super-overstable utility driver is what you need, then the Flick will do the job.  A few things to note:

    1. The Flick is ULTRA flat and ULTRA low profile.  It is the most low profile driver I have seen.  That being said, it might actually be too low profile to flick comfortably if you have large hands.  I have medium sized hands and it fits right into my forehand grip.

    2.  Due to the extreme flatness you will not be winning any distance competitions with this disc.  It just doesn't glide.  It has one mission and that is to get into the ground ASAP.  This is very useful for throwing at OB long or OB on the turn side.

    3. The shape of this disc allows for a foolproof FH roller.  Set it down vertical for a straight FH roller or set it down at various cut angles for a cut roller.
