This is one of my favorite discs I've ever thrown just because of how crazy it is and it's just so much fun to throw. Without doubt, the most overstable disc I've ever seen. I love throwing it on a flex forehand and watching it go forever. And it's also a great utility disc for when you need to make it around a very tight angle. Disc is certainly not for everyone but if you have the power to flex this bad boy, definitely throw it.

I tend to either use overstable or stable discs, and had a lot of frustrations trying to find "my meathook." Even now, this still isn't quite as meathook as I expected from the flight numbers. I have long hands so I perform better with higher speed drivers, so Firebird/clones just didn't feel good in the hand.

The issue with discs like Prodigy F MODEL OS and Infinite Slab (for me) is their thick rim make it so the disc doesn't act overstable if thrown on anhyzer, OR a strong headwind throws it off its flight path. The Flick is significantly less blocky which makes it, maybe ironically for some, more stable. Still can get good distance on this driver despite the looming overstability either backhand or forehand.

I bought this disc (145gram ESP) as a complete noob when i could only throw sidearm off the tee. Its called a Flick so i figured it'd be perfect for my flick throw. I threw it once and realized (falsely) that i had just wasted 20 bucks. A total meathook, i couldnt get it past 150' for the life of me and it just dumped before even leaving my hand. I kept it in my bag just to feel like i didnt waste my money, and now that its broke in and I'm much more advanced, its easily the most invaluable disc i own.

This thing is the ultimate get out of jail free disc. With all the wooded courses near me i use it more than any other disc just for scrambles and sharp doglegs and tight corners or around trees. Once you figure out this thing's primary function it becomes an instant staple. I still can't get it past about 280' which is now "short" for my arm, but i dont need it to go that far. It is perfect for what i use it for and there's absolutely no way i could play without it in my bag and get even close to my average scores.

I'm extremely jealous of those saying they can get this paper plate out to 350 or more, it seems unbelievable to me, but like i said its utility properties far outweigh any lack of distance it provides. I will always bag a Flick for as long as i play this game.

A disc with a +1 turn, the Flick should leave your hand laughing at the amount of anhyzer you used for your flex shot.

My Flick does not do this. My Z-FLX machete does, but this Flick, which I got to be an even MORE overstable disc than my machete, rides a very nice anny flex line with significantly more turn than the machete.

In fact, my flick flies like a slightly faster raptor. Still very overstable, but hesitates to fight out of the turn long enough to get a nice swooping line. In fact, this particular disc flies pretty nicely thrown RHBH for me. So why'd I only give it four stars?

Based off of pretty much everyone else's opinion of this disc, it should play even harder to turn over than the machete, and that's why I got it, so I must have gotten a dud. But it's a good dud. Just not what I was expecting. And if it's not supposed to be more OS than the machete, then I don't understand Discraft's stability ratings. The flick is supposedly speed 12 while the machete is supposedly speed 11, and the flick gets a 2.5 stability while the machete is 2.2 but between the two, it's not even a close battle for overstability. So yeah, I think I have a dud. But like I said, I like it for what it is, even if it's not what I was hoping for/expecting.

The Flick is a very flat, overstable driver with a great in-hand-feel.  For those of you who are looking to add a forehand to your bag or maybe want a disc that allows you to create out-of-trouble-shots, this is your disc.  The fade is reliable and strong so don't be afraid to roll it on release.  This is a very forgiving disc to learn how to throw FH.

    Disc - 171g ESP Flick

    Throwing style - RHBH

    Ah, Discraft's meme disc

This disc has two uses: utility, and giving it to newer players as a joke

This disc fills a very important slot in my bag: it's my Get Out of Jail Free card. What disc do you throw when you're stuck in the thorny, thick brambles deep in the heart of a Vietnam forest and the hole is completely out of sight? And how on earth do you throw such a disc, you may ask?

Discraft engineers took a disc the shape of a paper plate run over by a truck and tried to endow it with the power of flight, resulting in a meathook called the Flick. The Flick is one of the most OS abominations known to man. Thrown RHBH directly at a lake this disc will dump and fade so hard that it'll never even touch water, landing 50 feet directly to your left and maybe even behind you. I can't even imagine throwing this thing on a normal drive off the tee. If you hit a pedestrian on the left, the Flick is so flat, fast, and OS that it would actually kill them. This thing is dangerous.

All that to say, the Flick is the perfect disc for those weird utility shots that you sometimes need and have no idea what disc to throw. If I'm deep in the woods or am faced with some terrible lie, the Flick is the disc I grab. You can pretty much hammer or thumber this disc through anything and it'll cut through. I think once I standstill RHBH drove right through the thick branches of a small pine and it didn't even slow down. I can't count how many times I've thrown this disc to get out of jail and it's gone so much further than I thought, cutting and rolling.

Intermediate and advanced players would benefit from having this disc as a utility disc. It's flatness and overstability will fill a slot in many players bags that they didn't know they had. Discover new lines and take risks like never before with Discraft's Flick. Just don't throw around pedestrians.

I have a Founders Brewery stamped, puddle top Flick that is the most overstable disc I own. I only use it for utility shots on some local courses that have extreme right or left dog legs. I'm not sure if the puddle makes my disc so stable but this disc is not for beginners, unless you're only using it as a utility overstable disc.

I bag an old 150 class ESP Flick. Despite being such a light weight it doesn't affect the flight at all because this disc is designed to be massively overstable. I can count on this disc to always fade super hard on a backhand or forehand. The Flick is great disc for the player looking for a flex forehand or skip disc. Being as overstable as it is I usually only reach for it to get out of trouble. If I get off the fairway and need to barrel one out of the woods I will mash this super hard know that it's going to fade tons. In the hand the Flick is super shallow and almost concave on top. You won't be able to sink your grip deep into this mold, but it will be comfortable for smaller hands and pistol grip forehanders. I call this disc terrible for beginners, but regardless of your experience this disc will be the biggest hog you will probably throw on the course.
