Its silly how much I throw this disc! The first mid-range I picked up and it will forever stay in my bag. Great beginner disc! I love how with just a little hyzer this thing pops up and flys straight as an arrow with just a touch of fade at the end. Gets great distance for a mid!

Feel- ESP plastic is like a slightly more firm star plastic or a softer alpha plastic. This mold is a classic that suits many people's hands including mine.

Flight- When I throw this disc flat with full power I can get it to turn almost the whole way but end up with a bit of a fade at the end. When it beats in i know this disc will be money.

Use- Any shot within 300' that needs to turn for most of its flight. I find myself using this to play wooded courses but that's definitely not the extent of its use.

Was pleasantly surprised after throwing this disc. Very torque resistant for being a neutral-understable mid range!

Flys just like a beat in buzzz. Great for very straight shots which is a must need for wooded courses. Has the ability to be turned over and hold the line very nicely.

I bought the Buzzz SS after falling in love with the normal Buzzz and wanted to see if i liked it.. which I certainly do! I think being slightly understable, it is a little more forgiving to newbies that tend to lean forward on their backhand shots. I love this disc for tight tunnel shots that need precision and accuracy. I'd totally recommend getting one of these to complement your normal Buzzz!

I'll be totally honest, I bought this disc by mistake to replace a Buzzz I'd lost, before I learned that the Buzzz SS was different from the Buzzz. Thank goodness I didn't get the OS!

However, it ended up being a bit of a blessing in disguise. This disc does not go as far as the Buzzz, but it goes straight. There's almost zero fade at the end as the disc slows down, so you can put it on any angle and it'll hold it. It can also take a fair but of power and stay straight -- advanced players will have no trouble turning this over or flipping it up to flat, but beginners can rip this full power and get a nice, predictable straight shot.

Only points off are because it doesn't handle wind well at all, and once your power increases a bit you might find you miss the reliable fade of the Buzzz. That said, this is a great disc for the understable mid slot, especially if you're already bagging a Buzzz.

The Buzz and the Buzz SS need no introduction. Probably the most commonly thrown disc in all of disc golf, it's the golden standard of mid range drivers... and in the most boring of ways. It's predictable, it doesn't do anything excessive, it just takes what you give it and holds it.

From there, you can pick between the three models (Buzzz OS, Buzzz, Buzzz SS) to slightly tweak the flight you want, or adjust to your arm speed. Beginner/Intermediate? Go with the SS as your arm speed might be a bit lower. Intermediate to advance will love the buzz, and advanced will be able to take the Buzz OS and do well with it. You can also pick a buzz for various additional shots you may have, such as a later flip for a Tomahawk, more fade for a forehand/sidearm thrower who doesn't throw it perfectly flat.

I've had this in nearly all plastics. Z for durability, ESP for feel, Titanium for balance of invincibility and feel... you can't really go wrong with the Buzz in any mold and any plastic.

Love the buzzz, its my go-to mid. Its a reliable mid that flies straight with a little fade at the end.

I love this disc. I would say it has a little less turn than the flight rating suggests. Overall a great disc for intermediate and andvanded players.

Just one of the straightest and most reliable mids out there. The Buzzz SS is a great woods mid or a great point and shoot midrange. I like the SS because they are literally super straight. They are very form telling yet reliable. You can get a lot of distance with the SS I feel, one of the further flying mids in my opinion with a bunch of glide.

I have a Buzzz SS in ESP plastic and it has quickly become a favorite mid for me. It didn't take long to break in and now I love it for really straight shots or for long, slow turnovers. It will fade out but very slowly. It handles power pretty well, I love the shape of the rim and the feel of the ESP plastic. I also carry a regular Buzzz so this is a nice compliment to that disc. It feels sort of similar but definitely deeper rim. I don't have a super long backhand but this disc goes far for me. On the right line I have thrown this almost as far as my fairway drivers. I gave it 5/5/-2/1 because I feel like it glides really far when thrown well (listed glide is 4).

So... I got a Buzzz SS from Infinite Discs. I took it out on this short little Discraft Ace Race layout that I am helping host to give it a few test throws. I played the 9 hole layout throwing the Buzzz SS off of every single "tee". The 5th time I ever threw it, I canned an uphill 180' ace with it. Yes, I know... 180 feet is nothing to be bragging about but for it being only the 5th time I had ever thrown the disc, (or any Buzzz SS ever for that matter) it still made me feel pretty good. Needless to say, it instantly earned what I can see as being a permanent spot in my bag. It flies exactly how it's described... just like a beat in Buzzz. Since this throw in, I have used it for several upshots on the course with nothing but good results. I love it so far and I can't wait to get more rounds with it! This thing is a par saving machine!

Discraft makes the best approach discs in my opinion, so I'm not surprised that the Buzzz SS is a good compliment to the Zone & regular Buzzz. I only use this to get anhyzers on a shot under 250'. It's very forgiving for someone new to that technique. On all other approaches I use the Zone/Buzzz. This deserves 5 stars for being good at what it is meant to do. Don't get fancy.

Max weight Elite Z / ESP Buzzz SS have become my go to understable mids.  It flies great for long anhyzer's, or straight hyzer flips.  This is a great all around disc.

    ESP Buzzz SS

Feel/plastic: The shape of the Buzzz SS is hard to beat. It is a little shallower than a Buzzz and the wing is more round/convex. The feel is most similar to a Mako3, but the SS is shallower than that as well. Very comfortable, comes out of the hand clean. Discraft ESP isn't my favorite premium plastic, but the new swirly runs have been an improvement.

Flight: My BuzzzSS is straighter than the numbers would indicate. It flies like (5/5/-1/.5) powered up or (5/5/0/1) powered down. This disc is a dream for tunnel shots. Not for headwinds, but really dependable otherwise. It wants to finish on the same line it was thrown on. I know some older runs are flippier than mine, but the newer ESP and TI seem to be pretty straight.

Comparisons: Like a flat, comfortable Mako3. Also similar to a (non Emac) Truth, especially the flat Prime ones.
