As a preface to my review, I typically rely on my midranges for shots between 210-270 feet. My backhand throws come out mostly flat and I prefer to keep that angle and change discs to accomplish different flights.

I have been a thrower of the standard Buzzz for several years. I can trust it with good power and rotation to not turn over when thrown flat and hold an extremely straight line, barely seeing any left or right movement. However, I spent a very long time trying to find a disc that I could throw with similar power and turn slowly but not burn. In comes the Buzzz SS...

I truly love this disc. It feels similar to a Mako3 in the hand (to me at least) and has a similar flight as well. When released flat the Buzzz SS will come out going straight and then slowly turn over during the duration of the flight, only leveling back out right as it nears the ground. I love that it never tries to burn over. I also love how I can get varied flights simply by making small adjustements (throw softer = less turn and more control; throw on small hyzer = flip up to flat and go straight).

I have been looking for a disc like this for a long time and am happy to have finally given it a shot. If you throw the Buzzz flat and straight, this is truly the perfect compliment for easy understability.

I haven't loved throwing a "midrange" disc as much as this one in a long time! Just point and shoot and hope the basket doesn't hurt your plastic because you probably will be hitting it. Good thing it's beautiful swirly esp plastic and definitely holds up to full speed basket and boulder blows.
