The Tactic is designed for tactical approach shots to the basket. It has a flat top and an overstable end fade. In Exo (soft and hard) plastic, it also has a good grip for precision placement. In premium blends like Meta and Vapor, it is more durable and will keep its flight characteristics longer.

I threw and wind/hill putted a Rhyno for years. The Tactic is like a Rhyno, in regards to wind-cutting ability, but with an overstable fade. I love the tactic and the vapor plastic is amazing in the hand! I have both the instinct and the tactic in Vapor. I also have the Exo hard and soft Tactics, which are a different (but very similar) mold. The Tactic is a super awesome approach putter and the Vapor stands up in the woods.

Picked this disc up thinking it would be similar to the zone, but quickly found out that it isn't as over stable as a zone. I was finding that any torque on my forehand and also some headwinds were able to flip this disc. In my opinion for the use it is being advertised for (over stable approach disc) there are better options on the market. Hand feel is great but not being able to trust it on my forehand or in headwinds makes it not the greatest option for an overstable approach disc.

This is Discmania's version of the Discraft's Zone. It is a reliable overstable approach disc that can be thrown with torque and hold its line. It will fight wind and still have a reliable fade. Beware of the skip in Vapor or NEO plastic. As the cheaper plastics beat it, it will become less overstable. The rim depth and edge feel great in the hand. This is a great disc for anything under 200'.

(This review is for the Razor Claw 2, which to me is different than any other Tactic I have tried out.). This disc is like a shorter flying more overstable zone in terms of shot shape.  Everyone time you throw this disc you know exactly what it is going to do, and that is move left and get to the ground quick.

Got one in NEO in the DM mystery box and unless beats in really fast it will be in the bag for awhile as my forehand approach disc. I recently missed placed/left behind my A2 750 & bought a A3 & A2 in 500 but they aren't near as stable as my old A2, but this tactic fills the void in bag. Doesn't really have the glide that my old A2 had, but it always finishes stable which what i look for in a forehand disc. Especially when im behind a tree & need to put some anhyzer on it, but don't have to worry about it turning into a roller.

Razor Claw 2 is a fantastic approach disc. I use it forehand and backhand, I'm loving the reliability and severity of the fade.

This is my favorite disc I've ever touched. I love throwing this disc flat and have it immediately dump. If you are looking for a really and I mean really over stable putt and approach disc, then buy a razorclaw. I love this lux vapor plastic, it has a little bit of give to it,and is very grippy. I also love the way this disc looks. This lux vapor style plastic is veryy durable as well. Great for forehand, changed my approach game, especially in ripping headwinds. Get yourself an eagle McMahon signature series lux vapor razorclaw. Love this disc so much.
