I've been throwing the same d-line p1x for ~6months now, and 1. Plastic holds up great even with hitting trees in the woods 2. Just fantastic as a straight line, slightly glidey throwing putter.. it almost feels like it would be awkward in the hand bc it is a little deep but I've never had a probably with the hand feel if anything it's pretty comfortable

heard this and the Climo line 'Champ' are very very similar , and people having been giving positive feedback about how those putt. I do not putt with the p1x but anytime I have, for whatever reason, it's worked surprisingly well.

The D-Line plastic is nice and firm, which I prefer to have for my putting putters. The bead makes it very comfortable in the hand and catches well in the chains. Favorite putter

I got this in one of the Discmania Mystery Boxes from this summer, and was excited to finally get a Discmania putter that wasn't a special edition P2 so I could actually take it out and throw it.

My very first putter was a 150g Aviar, which I loved until I tried heavier weights and found it improved my consistency. This P1x is only 158g and feels lighter than that. I keep in in my bag for outside the circle and obstructed putts. If you put this disc way up high with just a little bit of anhyzer it will flatten out and come down with a satisfying plop on your layup shot. I don't know exactly what it is about this disc, but it just handles tricky putts and upshots really well, which in turn gives me confidence to push the limits of what I can do with it.

All of this is to say the D-line P1x will likely stay in my bag, but I don't foresee it replacing my main putting or thorwing putters.

I have a d-line 175g p1x. When I got this disc it was actually pretty overstable. But the d-line plastic beat in very quickly. So quickly that the bead actually wore off. The only reason it lost it's bead was because it hit big bricks, rocks, trees, and parts of the basket. I love the p1x,and I recommend anyone to get it. For putting I would recommend the d-line,or p-line plastic, and for throwing,I would recommend s-line plastic. The p1x is a great disc if you are looking for straight beaded putter for throwing, and for driving,as well as upshots. If you are considering getting a p1x just know that it has a very deep feel to it. My p1x,because it is so beat up is very understable. I can throw it on almost a vertical hyper angle, and it slowly flips up to flat and rides a very nice engaged that doesn't even try to think about coming back. This is a great disc for floaty upshots that just glide straight to the basket. The p1x is also very good for long putts. I would keep putting with the p1x except the one negative about it is that it doesn't resist the wind at all. Go get yourself a few p1x's on infinite discs right now to get yourself closer to a ten dollar gift card. Love the p1x.

This is a great disc that I personally used to help shape my backhand. Much like an Innova Nova or Classic Aviar. With a little bit of hyzer, the disc pops up to flat and rides a straight line throughout the flight. In my opinion, this is more of an off the tee type of putter, but I used it as my spin putting putter. Overall, this is a great disc and can help shape your game.

This review is for both the D line and the P line P1X.  I have both of these discs, D line for winter, P line for summer.  They both fly about the same.  Since the fall I have been searching for a disc to replace my XT Novas.  The Nova is still and probably always will be one of my favorite approach discs.  Though there is a flaw, the Nova breaks really easily after a few impacts with objects.  Enter the P1X, same flight numbers as a Nova but feels like a more traditional putter with a bead.  I tried this on a whim after receiving one in my mystery box and it was an immediate bond.  Up shots were a breeze whether they were on a hyzer line, straight line or anhyzer line, the P1X would just hold the line perfectly like my Novas.  As for drives with it, its a little touchy so I like to start it on a slight hyzer and have it pop up to flat and glide.  First drive I hit cage from about 240'.  Currently I'm bagging a 175 G D line P1X for all of my straight shots and an S line P2 for my straight to overstable putter shots.  These two discs pair very well.  The P1X also excels at long range jump putts as it tends to stay on what ever line you release it at, so I will be reaching for the P1X for those type of putts too.  Overall a great disc and I'm glad that I tried one.  I have 2 S line P1Xs coming so I will compare and review those when they arrive.

I mainly use the P2 to putt, and don't usually throw beaded putters, so I figured I'd give it a shot. I have 5 of these all around the 175 weight, and yet it still feels lighter than any of my p2's which vary in weight from 170-175. Both the p2 and my p1x are in D line, and for some reason the p1x just seems lighter. It's harder to push putt with this than the p2 or the roach if you are trying to get any distance. Overall if you like light discs and you like a bead, this could be for you. It flys super straight, I just have a hard time getting it straight past 30 feet without it dipping.

I was excited to try the P1x as I like Aviars and always wanted a baseline plastic version with a bead. I was hoping for some decent stability when you put some power on it, but I found that it didn't fly all that different from the P1. I would say if you are looking for a relatively neutral putter, but want a bead, this is a great option for you. I just look for my beaded putter to have a bit more stability. Still a nice disc, just not one that fits my preferances.

One of the best putters on the market. I used to putt with swans, until I got a misprint lunar stamped P1x in one of those mystery boxes. I really loved my swans, but the when I tried the P1x, I knew it would end up replacing them. And what do you know, Simon, my favorite player, came out with the trick shot challenge ones. So of course I had to buy the five pack, and I'm still using them. This putter holds such a good line for putting, it really is one of the best out there. I usually dislike beads, but this one is an exception because I never notice it and if I do it isn't uncomfortable. I also have one of them deuce s-line stamped for a driving putter. It goes very straight reliably with slight fade or turn depending on how you throw it. Discmania has been slowly taking over my bag recently, so the P1x is perfect.

I have used the P1X as a straight to understable throwing putter for a while. The D Line plastic feels great in the hand and has a lot of grip. The bead on the putter is very small compared to discs like the KC Aviar and Wizard. When you snap these hard on a backhand you can expect the P1X to slowly move to the right and with a bit less power you will get a really nice straight flight. As a putting putter you can expect these to be a dead straight flyer. Great for spin putts and long glidier putts. I personally wouldn't rely on this disc in a strong wind because it is a bit understable.

I just couldnt vibe with this disc. As a thrower it was straight to understable with a good amount of glide. Felt a bit like a wizard, but not quite as good feeling in the hand, also couldnt do anything my wizard couldnt do in ths air. As a putter it just didnt feel right in my hand and caused me to release my putts early. Theres nothing wrong with this putter and I'm sure most people will live it, but it only gets 3 stars from me because of the awkward feeling in my hand

The P1x found a spot in my bag as a putting putter and approach disc. In D-Line it is a consistent small-bead putter. For approach it holds the angle you throw it on and sticks nicely. Tons of confidence in this disc and it is still holding its neutral stability.

Disclaimer: I'm not a power putter and prefer low fade like the Magic or Voodoo

This putter flies straight with very very very minimal fade!  I have recently converted to the P1X and am not hesitating to put my favorite putters in the closet after just a few rounds with this.  Fits better than any putter in my hand too!

I use the P-Line P1x for all my putting duties and it's wonderfully straight! I switched from Judges because I felt fresh Judges would drop just a bit too quickly for my liking and I didn't want to beat in a new Judge everytime I needed a new putter. I would definitely reccommend the P1x for anyone that likes beaded putters but want some that doesn't have the ending fade that Judges, Ions, Wizards, etc... seem to have.

The D line P1x is Discmaina's first beaded putter. What they did was simply just put a bead on their P1 Putter. Personally I didn't like the bead for putting. However for those that like that bead to grab on to it is a fairly small bead that is just enough there that it is comfortable but doesn't get in the way at all. I really liked this disc for dead straight drives and and sort of approach shot. You can put this putter on what ever line you want and it will hold it all of the way. Overall I would recommend this putter to anyone who likes that bead in the rim and to anyone looking for that dead straight throwing putter.

OVERALL:  This putter was recommended to me by the good people at the IDGC.  I bought a 175g P1X in D-Line plastic.  As with all putters, personal feel is extremely important.  While its a decent performer and I want to like it, its just not the putter for me.

LOOK/FEEL:  The P1X's shape is somewhat of a combination of different discs.  the outer rim is rounded and the first inch of the top has a domey incline.  However, the top is extremely flat.  I like flat putters personally, but this one fits well in your hand.  The round edge and incline fits well in my palm and my thumb rests comfortably on top.  The D-Line plastic is grippy and pretty durable.  This is a beaded putter.  While I generally don't have an opinion in the beaded/no-bead discussion, I don't like this one.  Most beads give you a natural finger hold for your index finger.  The rounded edge of the P1X, however, doesn't connect well with the bead, leaving a smaller, and ultimately, uncomfortable groove for the index finger.

PERFORMANCE:  Good performance.  Its a straight flyer and putter.  As an approach disc, it will hold an anhyser line, good for your 100ft shot around a tree.  For close-range putting (inside 25ft), it performs well.  It feels surprisingly light coming out of the hand for 175g.  Sometimes that's good, other times its not.

Overall, Its just not my favorite, not based on performance but on personal feel.  As far as beaded putters go, I prefer the Judge and Wizard.

I got this putter when i was looking to add a putter that i could push off the tee with some power and not have to worry about it rolling over. I will hold a constant line for me and never tail out when it slows.

I got to play a round today with the only person I've ever met to use the P1's...the X and regular P1. He had a brand new P1X that he let me test out to help "break it in" (his words, not mine.)

I really liked this disc. It's by far my favorite Discmania putter, and that is in no small part due to the fact that it is a beaded disc, which is how I prefer my putters and mids. The P1X had a supriningly flat top and a very nice feel in the hand. Not too deep and not too shallow, it felt very familiar right away. My partner said he uses his for drives and upshots (he putts with the regular P1) because the P1X has more stability. I found that the low speed stability of the P1X was the same as the P1, but it certainly had more stability in the high speed portion. I was able to get some really nice, straight drives just by throwing flat with a fan grip. Using a power grip, which I prefer to drive with, I did have to put a small degree of hyzer on the P1X to get it to flip to flat...this did give it a harsher fade. It was pretty easy to get it to hold an anhyzer without burning over.

Far and away, the P1X is Discmania's best putter. Probably not the greatest into a headwind, but otherwise a very solid disc.

The P1x is Discmania's first beaded putter, and they did a fantastic job. Off the teepad and in the fairway it goes ultra straight, with a late but trustworthy fade at the end. Many have been switching to the P1x Lately because it is less stable than Big Bead Aviars, Wizards, Pa1's and other popular beaded putters that are out there. The D-Line plastic is the same as Innova's DX plastic, and the D-P1x will change your game, whether it is on the putting green or in the fairway with the short game. Try one out!
