I picked up a P1x while searching for a deeper putter than the envy I had been using for a couple years.  It fits well in my hand for putting, but I don't like driving or approaching with it because it's pretty understable.  I got various plastics to test out, but since the weather has been cold I've used the X-line.  I ended up keeping a P2 in my bag for short putts and use the P1x for edge of the circle and beyond.  It glides well and flies dead straight when released flat, which is why I like it from range.  The X-line grabs the chains nicely, but it is definitely rubbery and prone to spit outs off the pole if the weather is too warm.  I will be switching to D-line once the weather warms up again.

The original X-line p1x with the puddle topped felt super good in the hand. I did not gel with the disc so much as a putting putter as the disc felt a little rubbery and actually had more bounce outs from hitting center pole than my other putters. But this disc is superb as an approach putter or throwing putter as the flexibility and tackiness of the plastic makes it great for sticking your landings.

f you're looking for a straight flying approach disc, the Discmania P1x is money. This disc is easy to throw and isn't going to fade hard at slow speeds. It is ultra straight but doesn't glide to far that you are going to overshoot the basket. I love the feel of X-Line plastic as it's soft, but not too soft and really grippy and doesn't slide or skip very far making your lie close to where it lands. My P1X is actually a little bit concave puddle top, almost like a Yeti Aviar, and that might also contribute to its lack of glideyness.

As a putting putter, I'm not the biggest fan of the P1x. The top feel is quite curved where I like to rest my thumb, which leads to inconsistent releases for me, but I have an unusual putting grip, so for others the P1X might be a great putting putter as well.

The X-lines have been the best putters I've thrown. Similar in the hand to Wizards but in the firm Innova XT plastic, these have just the right amount of stability to handle even the most powerful of spin putts. And when thrown with a power grip flat, these things neither turn nor fade. The X-line's are the much awaited big brother to the D-line's so if those were too understable for you but you enjoyed that feel and flight, upgrade to the lower-profile, heavier-feeling X-line.
