Discmania released the CD1 in 2022 toting that it was the same mold as the CD2. Comparing the feel between the two, the CD1 has a slightly deeper feel and a slightly concave bottom wing, where the CD2 was almost perfectly flat on the underside of the wing. Comparing flights, the CD1 is significantly more overstable, at least in the C-Line plastic. We expect that the CD1 in S-Line when it releases will be closer in flight to the CD2.

As of 2023, we don't know if the CD2 will ever be released again, but if it is, it probably will not be anything like the old CD2, and will be a more overstable compliment to the current CD1.

Flight path is most similar to a beat up thunderbird. Holds lines extremely well and finishes with a mild fade dependably.

I bought 2 of these 175g & 172g both in Swirl.  What's interesting is I have 2 VERY different discs.  The 175 is true to the numbers, the plastic feels great, SUPER consistent.  I think of it as a longer Eagle-L.  LOVE IT

The 172 is really flippy and inconsistent.  I've never seen a disc where 3g makes a big difference but it feels "broken" to me.  My buddy got a non max weight one and his is similar to this.

So bottom line is I love the disc but make sure and buy max weight (I don't usually buy max weight I like 170ish).

I love this disc I think if you ar looking to move up to drivers this is a great disc for you. I love mine it will stay on what ever line you need. If I get a good rip on this i can sometimes get this to fly further than my distance drivers.

This disc really does fly true to its numbers. It has an impressive amount of glide combined with the nice subtle turn and fade. It was fly dead straight and will actually fight a head wind decently well. Its very comfortable disc in the hand and is very easy to throw. you can flew this disc out and it will hold that line for a very long time. I used this disc for tight and long tunnel shots and turnover forehand shots.

Overall an amazing disc and I would personally recommend this disc for anyone to throw.
