Discmania released the CD1 in 2022 toting that it was the same mold as the CD2. Comparing the feel between the two, the CD1 has a slightly deeper feel and a slightly concave bottom wing, where the CD2 was almost perfectly flat on the underside of the wing. Comparing flights, the CD1 is significantly more overstable, at least in the C-Line plastic. We expect that the CD1 in S-Line when it releases will be closer in flight to the CD2.

As of 2023, we don't know if the CD2 will ever be released again, but if it is, it probably will not be anything like the old CD2, and will be a more overstable compliment to the current CD1.

Apparently this disc is outta production in this plastic, which is a real shame. The plastic is beautiful to look at and feels great in the hand. The disc flies true and far without much effort. Some of my longest drives (approx 325 feet) have been thrown with this disc. Here's hoping it re-enters production!

Quickly becoming a favorite in my bag.  Numbers are spot on in my opinion.  Can handle a number of different throws/lines.

This is one of my top thrown discs. I've tried it in cline and gline and I prefer the gline. You can do so much with this disc once you learn it. It's understable, but just at that right amount. I'd say the flight path chart is pretty accurate for cline, but more understable for gline.

BH at 340ft power and lower is little flip up, maybe slight turn then fade. Approaching 360-400ft power, the cd2 is a hyzerflip machine. Amazing at tunnel shots. Once learned, you can make this disc do anything you want to. Buttery smooth anhyzers or even rollers if you feel like it.

The best thing about the cd2, is in the hyzer flip to flat/straight FH shot. It really helped me learn a smoother forehand.
