I have 175g. My go to forehand distance disc but solid for backhands as well. Very flat in the hand - no dome. Mine has some turn but never flips over too much on me. Consistent overstablity but not so overstable that I can't throw it far. Only throw one so can't comment what the ones like their numbers are like. Less stable than 3/4 destroyers I've had for reference. Reminds me a lot of my domey gold line ballista pro flight wise but less glide.

A friend of mine got a 173g tournament plastic World as a mystery disc. He was just getting into disc golf at the time so a 14 speed distance driver was too much for him. He let me hold on to it for a little while. Throwing it for the first time definitely piqued my interest. It felt good in the hand and very controllable. I found myself reaching for this disc on the tee pad more and more. I drive 400'+ pretty consistently. It feels like a more controllable and reliable Shryke. This disc of fast! The 14 speed is definitely accurate in order for the disc to do do as designed. On a flat release it will stay straight for about 175-225ft with a gentle turn and it has always hooked up around 375-400ft for me with a reliable fade at the end. It doesn't skip too much. It will hold an anhyzer for a while but it will look up toward the end of the flight. Being an overstable Distance driver, obviously it will hold a hyzer. The Westside World is my go to distance driver.

This disc is very fast and can fly a long way on a straight hyzer. For an overstable driver it has a lot of glide, and pushes forward until it hits the ground. I don't recommend this disc for almost anyone though because to me it's the epitome of the "faster means farther" myth in disc golf. This disc isn't very useful unless you have at least 500 feet of distance.

Beginners Review: Recently purchased a Tournament - 172g - World to see what all the hype was about.......the hype is real!!! It reminds me of the Star Ape that I have kept in my bag the longest, but with a bit more speed. I like using this one for the huge spike hyzers that are required to avoid all these darn trees ; ) I recommend this disc for those powerful players who like to bomb!

The World is a good stable high speed distance driver. You can get a ton of distance from a World when you get them up to speed. Good for hyzer shots and this disc will hold up decently in a moderate head wind. In my experience these discs are not good into a strong headwind as they want to turn to the right(RHBH). If you are looking of a good hyzer disc on those days that there is minimal wind and need the disc to go a long ways and then fade at the end predictably then the World is what you are looking for. If you are lucky enough to find a super flat TP World those things bomb and will have a nice S curve. I have 3 and they are super sweet. A TP World will be stable/OS out of the box but they work in nicely as they season.

This is a meaty driver. Noticeably overstable and a very good headwind performer. Frankly I don't have the arm to maximize the flight of the World. I liked it anyway though. Even on a hyzer line it gets where its going lightning fast. I guess I'd almost equate this with a faster, glider Xcaliber.

Guys who throw 500'+ probably massacre the World. For me it's more of a straight wind fighter.

I found an unmarked World in Tournament...about 172g... and I immediately made room in my bag for it as an extra distance bomber.  It has a good bit of turn to it late in flight and then a big round house fade at the end.  HSS is nothing like the flight chart in Tournament anyway but the fade is there.  Thrown flat the flight is very similar to flexing my Opto Missilens...  and the distance is the same... but the extra glide of the World requires less power to get there and the flat release is less risky.  As for other comparisions, I'd say its close to a beat-in R-Pro Boss in flight but superior in hand feel (I like flatter discs and rim width does not bother me).  I will keep my Missilens for headwinds (unless I find some much more overstable Worlds) as this disc didn't like strong winds.

I only have a 300-325 foot arm so i bought this disc hoping for it to be my overstable driver for big hyzers. man was i wrong about this disc it has become my Go-TO driver for off the tee, it will hold any line i put it on, whether i throw it flat, big spike hyzer, or with anny it rides for days.

Profile: This is starting to get on the thick side for rim width.  Other than that the feel is great.

Flight: The stability of this disc is definitely plastic dependent.  The VIP is much more stable than the Tournament.  Also the tournament beats in quickly so this disc will be flying much different 1 month after getting it.  So I'll try to give it 3 ratings: VIP: [14, 4, 0, 4] - comparable disc would be a bio Defender, new Tournament: [14, 4, -.5, 3], used Tournament [14, 4, -1, 3].

    Comparison: Wraith, beat in Defender.

Final thoughts:  I used this disc a lot until I got a bio Defender, I found the Defender to be more predictable with the same distance so it booted the World out of my bag.  I've been told bigger arms find this to be similar to a Star Tern.

I was very happy with the World when I got it. The disc felt great, it flew like a dream, and I knew I could rely on it. It was that way for the longest time, but eventually something felt off with it, so I got a new one to replace it but it just wasn't the same either. I eventually got myself a Dynamic Discs Defender and found it to be my preferred disc of the two. I know many players who love the World, I just couldn't get it to work for me, but I definitely think this disc is worth a toss if you know someone with one. Dependable and great for forhand or backhand shots

The VIP World is my go to disc for Forehand distance. When I throw it level it turns hard to the left and holds the left turn for a long distance and then fades hard at the end of the flight as long as I keep it high enough. I'm able to get about 350 feet on forehand drives with the World which is about 25 more feet than I can consistently get out of any other disc.

When my VIP Worlds started getting a little too beat in I decided to try a 175g Blue Tournament Plastic World. This is a completely different disc -- so much more overstable. While a disc this overstable could have a purpose as a meat hook always fade right dog leg disc, that's not what I use it for. For those shots I prefer slower discs with thinner rims like the Discraft Flick and MVP Resisiter.  Right now this Tournament World is just not usuable for me. I'll keep it around for a while, perhaps it will get beat in more, but if not I might just need to get another VIP.

I got my first World through a trade at my local league; Tournament plastic, 171g. I had recently started playing and wasn't really throwing forehand too much. My backhand distance was also not what it is today, so I didn't immediately find a good use for the World. As I continued to play I constantly cycled discs in and out of my bag to keep trying them as I got better. The World made its way back into my bag; I had more arm speed and had started forehanding more, the World hasn't left my bag since!

My major use for the World is for forehanding. Its stable, but not so overstable that I can't get good distance out of it. I use a flat-topped Champion Firebird for shorter flicks, it is much more overstable and has a harsh fade crash. The World allows me to get better distance, and it doesn't crash like the Firebird. I also recently started to backhand the World, and on a slight anhyzer release, it holds a great flat line and then has a relatively large fade.

In a big headwind I can pull out the World and backhand it full power without worrying that it will turn over. I have also started using the World for forehand rollers and it is awesome. It's flat enough to hold a cut roll for a very long time before standing up. If you are looking for a moderately overstable Trilogy disc, try the World, you won't be disappointed.

The world for me has been a conundrum, every review I have read describes the tournament as less stable than the vip and yet my experience has differed tremendously. First off I would like to start by mentioning that I own three worlds in three of the four different plastics. A tournament my fav more of that in a moment, an elasto which I can also use and a VIP which is pretty much useless to me. Now let me take a sidebar for a moment and explain why I bought the world and why I bought it in the different plastics, I like trilogy plastic especially the tp gold line and fuzion I like the feel and the glide it's got just the right amount of grip, for me at least,so after throwing the gold line halo I started buying an replacing my mixed inventory with trilogy molds. That now brings me to the reason for the world. After buying an opto stiletto to replace my nuke os I saw that I was still getting more distance from the os so I looked at the flight path of the world and it looked like a match it obviously isn't non of the plastics are but I found this out by throwing an elasto that one of my fellow disc golfers had.Long story shorter, I gave up on the world and kept using my os well fast forward a few months and I decided I would see if it would make a good turn over driver in the wind thrown with hyzer so I bought the elastomer and alas it did not it flipped all the way over and died didn't even roll just meat hooked to the right! So I bought the VIP cause I  have a VIP giant and it's pretty stable. Well the VIP was more stable than the elasto but that's no saying much it didn't meathook but it did flip all the way over too. Now one reviewer wrote that the VIP and opto discs would hold what ever line they were put on and fade back left , hasn't happened yet. Which brings me to the tp , now I originally bought the tp cause again I also have a tp giant and it is my glideir if that's a word straighter giant still stable too stable for a decent turn over. So back to the tp world I bought it to be a glidier world which it is but it's also pretty stable I was kinda surprised how stable it was it seemed so stable I threw it on a Hyzer in a 20mphh headwind and it flipped up flat had a little turn then finished slightly left needless to say I was dumbfounded. I picked it up then threw it flat and there it was the line I wanted from the "more stable " discs a perfect right fade turn over that faded right flew straight then faded back left still landing right of center about 375 to 385 ft away give or take since I paced it off. So to sum up this novel tp good VIP bad elasto good tailwind- no wind left fader VIP for that is to stable probably be a backup until I get another elasto so hope that helps with your purchase decision. Btw my main throw is rhbh jic and all three worlds are max weight.

This is a fantastic disc. I love the speed and overstablity.  I probably am not using it to its fullest potential because I am currently using it as a utility disc. Since it is very overstable (comparable to the Giant) and it is a speed 14, it does not require alot of power to make controlled skip shots and shot that need to turn corners very quickly. I would also use this disc for throwing big spike hyzer shots.

I was throwing a 175 tournament World but sadly I lost it recently. I have a new one on order but decided to go with the VIP plastic this time. In past experience the VIP plastic tends to be a little more overstable and maintain its initial flight characteristics longer as it beats in.

For the first time Westside's numbers are dead on! I bought the tournament plastic at 173g. Flew dang overstable for me for the longest time. I throw RHFH. After improving my arm speed and hitting some trees it's mellowed out to a shallow left turn then hard right fade. This has become one of my two primary drivers. Couldn'tplay without it. Word of warning though.... Even being very overstable, the glide makes it hate wind. Seen this disc be carried off before thanks to a cross wind and its been pushed down multiple times in a headwind. Throws well with an anny.

Not as overstable as i thought it was going to be or as the flight path chart suggests but i do really like the disc.  Can make this disc go right for a RHBH throw and without a ton of anhyzer.  That might be because my disc is different from the others, not sure. Goes long!

I loooove this disc. It is my go to distance driver for RHBH. I have one beat VIP for more turn and I'm currently seasoning an orange tournament world and I just had my farthest throw ever, 455 feet! I use Giants for super reliable overstability, but these are great for starting out overstable when new and slowly wearing into bomber status.

Wow, what a great mold. I prefer the feel of the Tournament plastic, but stablitly of the VIP plastic. So basiclly I try to keep newer Tournament Worlds in the bag otherwise I'll see some unwanted flipping (BHRH).

Had a vip wich was way too stable for me. In reality I prob shouldnt be throwing anything this fas but I use it as a utiliy special needs driver ( aka days too windy to enjoy throwing). The tournament plastic feels much better in my hand and I am able to trow distance flex shots that I couldnt quite turnover in the vip. As stated I dont have the arm to use except in the wind but she really shines even w anhyzer releases in headwind it fights back, finishing left evertime. not a great beginner disc and can have issues with consistent flights in the wind. I'd throw a friends more than once before blindly going after this disc
