The Westside Sword is a great distance driver for power throwers and forehand shots. This is a fast and very stable driver.

    Tournament Recycled Muovi Details

Westside Tournament Muovi R (Recycled Plastic) is the equivalent of Dynamic Discs and Latitude 64 Recyled plastic. This plastic feels very similar to traditional Tournament, but being that it's made from recycled materials, is not quite as durable.

Tournament Recycled plastic is a one time limited release. The discs we have were overruns from those produced for stores in Europe.

The Unsung Hero of the Westside Lineup!

There was a time, not so very long ago, when the Sword was *the* Westside disc to throw. It's seemingly blessed combo of glide, manageable stability and perfect rim size were highly regarded. And then Westside (and other Trilogy brands) started pumping out discs at the rapid rate and the Sword was left behind, a seemingly ancient relic of time gone by. It went forgotten by many...including myself.

Fast forward to late 2015 and I somehow stopped clicking with the Sorcerer. On a whim, I got a couple Swords from Infinite as they essentially have the same flight path, but the Sword is slower (ergo, more suited to my arm speed). After a handful of throws, I fell right back in love with the Sword. Now I have two in the bags at all time, and I'm not a guy who bags many "distance" drivers. The Sword is fairly consistent across runs...though some are domier than others. But each plastic blend flies slightly differently:

VIP Air: Starts off slick, but a quick wash gets it fairly grippy. Almost all are flat. By far the most understable of the Swords. Beats in very easy. Distance bomber.

Recycled Muovi: Out of the box, more overall stable than the VIP Air. Starts almost in the sweet spot. Fantastic grip. All seem to have a mild dome. Decent fade when given hyzer.

Tournament: Perhaps a bit more stable than the Recycled, but lasts longer. Takes a very long time to beat in. Always glidey.

VIP: The most oversstable of the Swords. Still a bomber with great glide, but has heavy fade even without hyzer. Beats in to an amazing disc.
