The Swan 1 Reborn uses the mold of the original Westside Swan that was discontinued, but that has now been brought back. This Swan version is more understable than the Swan 2 that has been around for the last few years. This disc is amazingly straight for any arm speed right out of the box. This is a great putter for long, straight putts.

I don't have a forhand so I throw this. I just lost it tonight so here I am buying more.

I don't putt with these and don't plan on it.

I got this looking for an understable thrower and have loved throwing it.  I had tried a spin, but it was too deep for my preference.  This is a shallower disc and has a very reliable turn.  For softer approach shots it'll hold the turn all the way to the ground, and for driving off the tee I can hyzer flip it up into a gentle, drifting turn.

I've found it to be quite useful as a thrower, but the unexpected benefit is the circle 2 putting.  I usually use a Warden to putt, but when i'm beyond 40', this is the putter I grab.  I've hit more circle 2 putts than ever now that I've switched to the Swan 1 Reborn.  I highly recommend for beginner, intermediate, and even advanced throwers.

In my opinion the best Disc out there. Release it on a heizer and watch it stand up and glide to the right. I throw RHBH. Works great for me since i dont throw side arm.

This is an excellent disc for putting and up-shots. It flies straight and the BT soft sticks to the chins. On upshots I give a short pull with lots of spin and it flies so straight with easy controllable glide. It is an understable disc so if thrown incorrectly it will trun on you. I have also driven on short holes with this and it flips up and flies straight with a left to right finish. I have tried to replace it with a Nova and a Dart but the Swan 1 Reborn is just what I need for putting and straight up-shots

When the shot I want to execute is straight, this is the disc I grab for.  I don't think I could go back to playing wooded courses without one. It flies straight when thrown flat or harder with some hyzer flip, and will also take anny backhand shots beautifully when I can release it at the right angle.  I couldn't recommend this disc enough for beginners.  Maybe not as a putting putter because of the odd rim, but as a first throwing disc.

Well, I've never thrown th OG Swan, the Swan Reborn is ever so slightly more understable than your standard Swan a.k.a. the Swan 2. The rim feels a little wonky at first, but the BT Soft is very grippy and a fantastic blend. I found the disc comfortable to grip once I adjusted to the rim feel.

The Swan Reborn is a nice, understable, glidey putter. Very easy to hyzer flip for long, straight, glidey flights. A great putter at all ranges, though it can get a bit squirrely into a headwind. I'd feel it up before I bought it though...as I said, the rim will not agree with everyone.

I highly recommend this disc in your bag if you don't already own it.  If you're looking for a putter to fly 100 feet and accurately, this is the disc for you!  It has SOOO much control, definitely glad I have this in my bag!

This is a fantastic putter for hitting the chains. Fairly shallow beadless grip makes it awesome for those with smaller hands, wide fan grips, and kids too. Plastic is very gummy and sticks well.

Preforms best when on a slight hyzer and a little loft. Good glide but it can't take power. It is very point and shoot up to 100 ft. but I wouldn't try to throw one any further than that.

Is okay in light wind for putting, but if you use it as an approach disc or the wind gets up too much, I'd switch to another option.

If your teachingkids disc golf, this is anamazing tool.

For me the original Swan in a harder plastic blend, was a decent all purpose putter. The new Swan 1 Reborn, seems like the same disc to me, just in the softer, grippier plastic. Where this putter excels, especially in the BT soft blend is for those short anhyzer approach shots where you need to get around a tree, and hold the anhyzer line with out fading out. The nice sticky BT soft is also great for approach shots where you don't want to slide too far away from the target.

When it comes to actual putting, this putter is a little bit too soft, and a little too shallow for my liking for what my hands have been conditioned to use. For a Westside putting putter, I prefer the Shield.

As a driving putter, the Swan 1 Reborn flips very easily. This can be a good thing for those shots that you want to turn right. The BT soft is grippier than I like for a driving putter, and this thing gets beat up pretty easily. After just a two rounds and some pretty solid tree shots, my Swan 1 reborn already looks pretty beat up.
