The Swan 1 Reborn uses the mold of the original Westside Swan that was discontinued, but that has now been brought back. This Swan version is more understable than the Swan 2 that has been around for the last few years. This disc is amazingly straight for any arm speed right out of the box. This is a great putter for long, straight putts.

This disc and I just did not gel. I did not like the feel from the start, but I think a lot of that was the BT hard plastic. For me, I found it to be too hard for my liking as I like my approach and putters to have at least a little bit of give. In addition to the plastic, I did not prefer the way the disc felt either. This one just didn't work for me. I would be interested to see what I thought about this disc in the medium though.

The Swan 1 Reborn is a putt and approach disc from Westside Discs. This is the first version of the Swan that died off and is now back, not confusing at all. The Swan 2 is very understable, but this disc takes it even further. I could not throw this disc for any sort of tee shot or approach shot. The only use I found was as a putter. This thing is super straight and doesn't want to fade out at all. Not much use after that for me, but if you want understable, this is the disc for you.

I use this as my distance putter, anything outside of 25. OR  if im hitting low my mind tell my to go less stable with a touch more umpf. either way i enjoy using this smaller diameter putter when needed. my main putter would be a pure, and the rims are definetly not all that similar, but i enjoy the feel and better putting distance i get.

I am a push putter and am new so I don't have Ricky power.  I wanted a putter that felt like a Harp or a Pure, but flew like a beat up Aviar.  This is it.  I can count on it to drive into the chains flat if I release flat.  I suspect that longer than 30' putts will require more beef in a putter, but I am honestly laying up beyond 40' anyway.  Once I get more stank behind my putt I may have to move up to a more stable disc, but untill then I will continue to enjoy the flight of these discs when brand new.  No more smashing Aviars into trees to get them to fly like I like.

Very nice putter and it likes to glide.  It has a very nice feel in the hand and I can get a nice grip on the disc.  The BT hard plastic feels nice and is stiff but grippy and it seems to be pretty durable.  Driving with the Swan Reborn is a bit of a trail and error for me.  It is very easy to turn over.  I find this makes a great putting putter but not the best for a driving putter.  If you are looking for a nice feeling easy to throw putter the Swan 1 Reborn would be a good one.

So for me this is one of my 3 upshot discs. When I want a laser straight upshot with ZERO fade, I can do that with this disc. I throw it on 50% power and due to the understability, it holds the line thrown without fading out. It can and will turn over due to being an understable putter, so release angle is important. I will say, this putter is FUN when throwing some turnover putter shots, and this will hyzerflip in impressive fasion for a putter. I have thrown this every round since it was in my bag and I really enjoy it for upshots, short (150') tunnel shots and understable duties. Keep in mind, Hard will be the most "overstable" and soft will eventually beat in to be even more understable...
