I bag a seasoned puddle-topped BT Soft harp and if I never lose it, its never coming out of the bag. Great on backhand and forehand for every approach shot in the book. Decent glide and enough fade to hold a line without fighting out of anny early.

I think this is a great approach disc especially in the BT soft; you know the BT soft isn't going to roll away on those hill and hard surfaces. I'm thinking about getting a VIP version bc the soft isn't the best off the tee in my opinion. It tends to leave my hands wobbly.

The Harp immediately lowered my score and transformed my mid-short approach game.  I have it in BT Soft and the top is a puddle. This gummy little fellow resists all but the most aggressive forehands and has a "set-your-watch-to-it" reliable fade. If I'm 150-200 feet away from the pin and any sort of forehand line exists I'm grabbing the Harp. If it's a stiff headwind and I'm putting im grabbing the Harp. If I simply don't know what I'm doing I'm grabbing the Harp.

In BT Soft this disc gets down in a hurry and stays put, ideal for uneven and sloping greens. I find it very difficult to backhand reliably and forehand isn't the most beginner friendly either. But if you rely heavily on forehand in the woods you need a Harp.

Absolutely love the Harp, but more as an approach disc than a putter.  Excellent for forehand or backhand.  BT Soft cuts down on roll aways.  Also helps get out of jail when stuck behind trees.  I will putt with it on windy days but play for that OS finish.  I fell for the disc as a beginner, now as a decent intermediate it still has a place in my bag between the Anvil and the Justice.

If this isn't the best selling approach disc on the market, it should be...very overstable...it can take any ark speed. For those bombers that have a tough time finding a good mid range/putter they can forehand, and backhand. This is the disc

The harp is one of the most universal approach discs I have ever thrown, back hand or forehand this this will hold  a reliable line with a dependable fade from any distance between 60-80 feet or dare I say even more for bigger arms. Although I primarily use this disc as an approach disc sometimes when I am trying to hyzer around a tree I putt With the harp. The great thing about these discs is they will hold a lot of there stability even when they are very broken in. The rim is small and feels very comfortable and controllable in my hand for both forehand and back hand grips. Another neat trick you can learn to do with this disc is throw forehand putter rollers that will fight and fade while rolling.

By far my favorite disc in my bag! I have to thank Ricky for putting such a staple disc in my bag. There is a reason the #1 player uses this as his go to approach disc. This is my go to for just about anything under 275 for backhand or forehand. It has a reliable fade and holds straight with hardly any power put into it. The BT soft is amazing for sticky greens while the VIP provides great ground movement for those low ceiling shots. This will forever stay in my bag.

Great for forehands and also great for those who like to hyzer putt.  I can crank on one and it won't turn over.  I would compare it to an innova pig.

I can't say enough good things about the Harp. If you need an approach disc... This. Is. It. It's the Firebird of putters. Will always finish left (RHBH), can handle a great amount of power, forehand it for an awkward approach shot, and it can be spiked. For driving off the tee or for skips, a harder premium plastic is great. But where this disc really shines is in the BT soft plastic. Use it for all your approaches and the soft plastic will hit the ground, stick, and sit. Get. This. Disc.

I first tried the Harp in BT Soft plastic and liked it very much. I found the flight ratings quite accurate to how the Harp flew for me. The BT Soft plastic was great at settling when it hit, instead of bouncing around or producing large skips.

Although I loved everything about the Harp in this plastic, I can't personally throw softer plastics at lower speeds. They tend to stay in my hand longer, and produce a kind of grip-lock. If I could remedy this, I would choose these softer plastics more often because of their flight characteristics and settling capability.

If you are looking for a great stable driving putter, definitely try the Harp. It doesn't give me great distance compared to some other options, but it is extremely reliable.

I picked up a BT Soft Westside Harp as part of the Dynamic Discs Two Disc Challenge. After using it heavily that round and a few since, it has found a semi-permenant place in my bag. The Harp is a great overstable approach disc that I have found to be very predictable. Another nice thing I like about this disc is it fits well in my hand for short forehand shots. Generally I struggle with flicking putters and midranges, but the Harp's rim seems more conducive to a forehand grip.

I also like the BT Soft plastic for the Harp because it sticks very well to where it lands. With other approach discs I have used I am often frustrated to see the disc land right beneath the basket and then pop up and roll another 15-20 feet away. The soft plastic makes these roll aways less frequent.

I think many players, beginner and expert, can find this disc to be a great addition to their bag.

Throwing this is like throwing a brick, Great controllable distance that will always fight the wind. Throwing really hard or just moderate and smooth yields little difference in distance. Great disc.

This disc is flicktastic. Great overstable mid and approach disc, you can flick it kind of hard and it won't flip, flies like a straighter drone at speed and like a Rhyno when it's thrown slowly. The BT soft plastic is super nice, but shows a lot of scuffs. Great hand feel and an almost concave top that adds stability and gives a good thumb placement. I really like this disc, cool stamp too.

The Harp is a very overstable putter with a completely flat top. The 174g I tested is in the BT soft plastic. This plastic feels awesome, but is not for me, it is a little bit softer than what I like. After getting used to the shape of the Harp in my hand, it performed fairly well for me for short putts. The plastic is really grippy and grabs the chains well, but is almost rubbery and makes the disc almost bouncy. I practiced with the Harp on a portable DGA Mach Lite and Mach 14 and had three different putts that hit straight on that bounced out. I don't think this would happen on a regulation basket with more chains, but as someone who regularly plays on portable baskets, this would be a legitimate concern.

For putts longer than 20 feet, this putter is just too overstable for me. I putt with a slow lofty push putt approach that drops into the basket, and the fade that kicked in was just too extreme to be reliable. As long as I aimed right I was able to hit fairly consistently, but for selecting a putter I prefer something that will stay straight deeper than that. If you put a lot of spin on your putts and really gun it, the overstability probably wouldn't be much of an issue. It wasn't very windy when I was playing with the Harp, but I imagine this is a very good into the wind putter.

While I can't see the Harp being a very popular putting putter, it could be a very good driving putt and approach disc. This disc is consistently overstable doesn't glide much, and dumps to the ground quickly. If you don't want to overthrow your shots, this is a good disc to choose. Once this disc is available in other plastics, the Harp will likely be a really good forehand disc. I love flat top overstable discs like the Dynamic Disc Suspect for sidearm approach shots. As it is now, the plastic is too sticky and makes it hard for me to get a clean flick release without turning over.
