    Armor Details

Armor plastic from Viking Discs is a durable, yet very comfortable, opaque plastic blend that is very similar to Star from Innova, or Gold Line from Latitude 64. It is a top-notch plastic blend especially for drivers -- able to take a beating and keep performing.

I found this disc at my local coarse and did some field work with it and I found that it seems to be a lot straighter flying than it says it is also it has less fade than I expected which can be very nice in a distance driver

The Ragnarok in Armor plastic is a bit more stable than advertised. I throw forehands about 350' with my stable fairway, but with this disc I get no turn and good fade on a forehand. Pretty good skip as well. Definitely handles torque very well, and the Armor plastic feels great and holds up well. The mold feels comfortable for forehands, being pretty flat and having a shallow groove on top of the rim for your thumb. Would recommend to anyone looking for a reliable torque-resistant disc in a premium durable plastic with good grip!

Bought from viking discs because I wanted to try some new brands as I am still pretty new to the game. This disc is pretty overstable but not to the point that makes it unthrowable, I find it useful for flick rollers and straight sidearms that need consistent fade. Backhand it flies a little faster and more stable than a thunderbird for comparison and is very comfortable in hand.

I found that the flight numbers for this disc were very misleading. It really takes a strong arm to get this disc up to speed, which is why I find that it is not beginner friendly. Moreover, the disc that I have had a ton of fade. Decent glide, but I find it does not fill a necessary spot in my bag.

This disc disc a pretty awesome when you get the speed behind it. I think that it requires more arm speed then indicated.

I picked one up slightly used from a local play it again sports a couple months back. I've only been throwing it on occasion when I know I'm heading to courses I can really rip a long drive on because a disc that really wants to just rocket through the air. (I live in North Carolina with typically thick wooded courses). This disc is more understable than I'd like for my game because I primarily throw forehand. It does feel really great in the hand and the Armor plastic feels like a twin to Innova's Star or Latitude 64's Gold Line; in fact, the Ragnarok feels like a near perfect copy of the L64 Flow. This disc feels great in the hand and would probably make a fantastic distance driver for a beginner or players with slower arm speed. It's super glidy and fairly understable and I bet fresh out of the box it would grow with most any player as they develope more power and better form in their distance driving

I don't understand why Viking Discs isn't a household name yet. I have thrown up-and-coming brands before that don't quite make the cut as far as quality and consistency among the other big manufacturers, but Viking Discs, is not that! This brand is legit! I have thrown 8 different molds by Viking Discs and I would recommend all of them to anyone! Their plastics feel great, and the flights are amazing as well. Not to mention the sick stamps on every disc! Do yourself a favor and try some Viking Discs!

Now... on to the Ragnarok. The Ragnarok is my absolute favorite disc that I have thrown from Viking Discs. This thing has tons of glide and an amazing feel in the hand. This is the absolute perfect disc for straight shots through the woods that you need minimal turn and fade. Perfect for hyzerflips to ride straight for a long time with a very slight fade. Thrown with anny I was able to get this thing to turn and hold the line without turning over to much and finishing straighter than I expected. I can't say enough good things about the Ragnarok. Get one! Check out my crew's full review of the Ragnarok (and more) here...

I like this disc a lot. Very similar to dga rogue, Innova krait, and streamline trace; but, since it's Viking discs brand, it is a tad bit more understable. Because of it's understability tendancies, I feel it is a little more beginner friendly than the previously mentioned disc.

Great disc overall. It stays in the bag for now
