This has become my go to putter lately. 173g. My friends and I call it the hub cap, and in a good way. It's great on short approaches, longer and shorter putts for me. Take a little power off of it and it will give a consistent fade to the chains. Throw it with authority and it flies straight and true. It doesn't change much, if at all, on windy days.

Given it's a bit of a "hub cap", it drops quick as it loses power. I like that it sits well and doesn't roll or wander. As I've gained more confidence with throwing harder at the basket, I've increased my usable distance with this putter. After about 40 feet or so, I like approach discs with a bit more glide right now. I've been using my 174g Wizard with some good success farther out.

It isn't a great putter for gently gliding shorter putts around trees or obstacles on sharp hyzers or anhyzers as it will just hold it's line and fall down quick with no glide like you threw a discus or a... hub cap. But give it some juice or distance and have the confidence to go for the chains and it finds them more of the time for me than my other putters currently.

It may not be the best gliding approach and putter I have, but from anywhere near the basket it gives me more and more confidence and more made putts, even some long ones.

I wish Vibram would continue to make discs. I throw several of their discs well and with all the trees around my neck of the woods, they hold up very well and fly consistently for me.

What a disc! Just like in ball golf, improving the short game helps take off many strokes for new players trying to get better. Exactly what this putter has done. First off the nice grip from the material is good for the chains and it also catches the ground well if your shot is off a little bit.(doesn't speed off and roll away) My new favorite putter, in the circle it's very nice but this disc has helped me with tiny step puts from 40'-60' feet which gives me birdie runs ! Flies straight with a tiny fade drop at the end RHBH. Overall great disc and will stay in the bag , wish they were still making them though. Hopefully another company takes over to make one similar.

The Vibram Ridge is a stable putter with a very grippable rim, excellent glide, and consistent flight.  It has become my go-to for tricky approach shots on a straight or hyzer angle, even up to 250'.  I love the X-Link Medium rubber, and it has held up to multiple trees very well.

I picked up the Ridge 15% off at my local store shortly after Vibram announced that they were leaving the disc golf game, because I had always wanted to try out one of their putters and was about to lose my chance.  Of the four, this felt the best in my hand.  A few practice shots and quite a few rounds later, I can confidently say this is one of the best putters I have ever thrown.  The rim is perfect for my grip and release, so I get very confident putts from inside the circle.  I can count on the Ridge to fly straight as far as I need to before finishing with a soft fade, without ever being in danger of turning over, even into wind.  With a strong anhyzer release, the Ridge will turn decently far to the right before flexing back at the end.  I can get a surprising distance with that flex shot - I've thrown this close to 300' a few times!  The stability is just enough that it's easy to get a consistent forehand flight pattern, as well.  I use this disc almost exclusively for tee shots under 250' now.  The Vibram rubber is very durable and consistent, so I know I'll never have to worry too much about my Ridge beating in and becoming too understable.

Overally, the Ridge is a very consistent throwing and putting putter.  Its fade is soft but consistent.  It can fly straight and take an anhyzer flex with ease.  I highly recommend the Ridge to just about anyone.

I really like the feel of this disc and how it does stick quick when it hits the ground.  I just couldnt get it to fly like I wanted, which is probably just me and nothing to do with this disc.  In the cold it is great, holds its grip and feels more durable than anything else. It has more fade than the numbers tell for me, which is what made me look elsewhere.  I am going to keep this one close and work with it more to see if I can get the hang of it.

I love my Ridge.  The feel of X-Link material is awesome, I really like the grip and ruggedness.  This disc is pretty straight forward and will do what you ask it to do.  I am not too great at driving with this putter (or any for that matter), but it is more than capable as a driving putter.  It stays in my bag.

xlink medium. I have been playing three years now and progress every year. This disc has changed my putting game forever. It is my go to disc for all things putter!! I have tons of confidence with this disc wind or,no wind. Even tunnel shots I pull this disc out of its under 250´ don't know what I would do without it.

I have a ridge at 173 grams in x-link medium.  I use it primarily for approaches into a modest headwind or ones where I want a little more fade than my summit will give.  I tend not to use it for full power throws (prefer my v.p. for that).  The low glide helps make it easier to range the disc and avoid going past the target.

Update:  I have become more comfortable with my ridge as time goes on and it has become my primary short approach disc.  It doesn't turn on lower power throws and holds up to modest headwinds well.  Now a 5 star disc for me.

This disc has stability! Finally a putter that is a nice in-between putters such as the zone and the challenger.  This disc is fairly difficult to turn over with some power behind it.  It does lack in glide, which makes it not desirable off of longer tees, but excellent for upshots you need to stick by the basket. Reminds me of a beat-in champion rhyno. Plastic is fantastic!

Thrown the ridge in all 3 plastics at 171g. Definitely like medium best. Soft will stay where it lands, but it's too floppy and hard just isn't good as medium. Flat top, with a bead. Disc flies like it says it will. I have a lot of experience with this disc. For a while it was my main putter, aproach and short range driver. Very versatile disc that goes exactly where you throw it and stops. This disc was in the bag for a long time and the only reason it didn't stay was because I prefer beadless putters and the pure can do everything the ridge can, but with more glide, distance, and control in the circle. If you like beads and want a disc that can do any shot well the ridge is the disc for you. My throwing specifics: I throw mostly at sea lelevel in moderate to high humidity. I have a high arm speed and I like to throw with a lot of spin and snap. I'm 6' 5" with an 80 in wingspan.

I'm currently using this disc as my main putter and I've come to have a love-hate relationship with it.  It feels absolutely amazing in my hand unlinke most putters, however, it has pretty much no glide.  For someone who is trying to improve their putting game like me, this probably isn't the best disc because every putt requires much more power than you'd think.  But once you get past that, this disc has proven quite reliable and predictable for the shorter putts.  Plus I love how stable it is.

This is a great disc. It's not super glidey, so I don't use it for putting much. I'm a hybrid putter, so pure spin putters might like it more for that. Where this disc shines, though, it approach shots. I use it for most throws under 200 feet. It flies dead straight with a dependable fade at the end, and some combination of the mold and the x-link plastic make sure it doesn't skip anywhere. It holds hyzer lines beautifully, and does pretty well with longer anhyzers, though it's a bit too overstable to throw for lowspeed anyzers.

There was a time when the Ridge was my most accurate putter for putts from 20 and 25 feet. I've done tests, throwing 26 different putters, and the Ridge was the one that landed in the basket most consistently for me.

Now I use the Ridge primarily for driving on short holes and for approach shots.
