I didn't like the ridge at first. I'm not entirely sure why, because when I'm practicing putting, this is one of my most consistent and accurate putters. It has an odd feel in that I think it flies like a brick, but it still gets in the basket a lot. Mine is 165 grams so maybe the light weight has something to do with it. Love the grip of Xlink. I have found no plastic putters that grip as well and still have the stiffness that you'd like compared to the Xlink firm. It's a great putter material.

I used the Vibram Ridge for 2 years. While I loved the durability of the plastic (I never once had to cycle out any putters from wear and tear), they are like putting with bricks. Now this can be great situationally, but I found that I was hitting the cage far too often. This could be remedied by throwing with more spin or umph, but my consistency went down and my shots would blow by. So I made a putter switch and am happy that I did. The ridge is a good overstable putter if that is what you are looking for, but do not expect a lot of flight from it. Would suggest it as a driving putter because of the ability to settle down and grab the grass with excellent durability

The Ridge is disc that I was pretty excited about because of all the hype surrounding it. I played a Birdie Bash earlier this year and picked up a Firm 174g Ridge as one of my discs. First off some things that I like about this disc: I like putters with a bead, the Ridge has a bead. Vibram discs look pretty cool and are very unique. The Vibram Rubber compound feels ok in your hands and is supposedly very durable. I can't speak much to the last one becuase this disc never stayed in my bag long enough to test its durability, nor was I ever that rough on it. The reason why it didn't stay in my bag very long is because I had a hard time getting this disc to glide like I wanted. I am a push putter within the circle so I like to put a little loft on my discs with enough spin to get it to the chains. When I putted with the Ridge it just seemed to drop way quicker than my Wizards, my P2's, and even my PA1 or Big Bead Aviar. When I did get it to the basket it took a lot more effort than I felt it should. Some people might actually like its lack of glide though... In my opinion this disc shows it's best side off the tee. You can power it up and it will fly straight with a minimal fade. However I consistently got more distance from my Big Bead Aviar and PA1 than I did with this disc. Overall I would recommend this disc for people who are big fans of the Vibram rubber or are spin putters. For me though, it just didn't make the cut. (I was also kind of sad to find out that I have been pronouncing Vibram wrong... it's vee-brum... shame)

I'm not a fan. Maybe it's the firm plastic I got it in, but it doesn't feel good in the hand, it bounces out of the basket, chains out, and just falls out on shots that I feel like my other putters make. It's probably just me, but I don't like it.
