Kinda awkward. Versatile but especially a great forehand roller disc if you need something that gets left fast

Great putter year round.  feels decent in the hand but is an excellent flyer during putts and turnover drives.  I aced during my last tournament with one. If you are a spin putter then give the pa4 a try!

This review is for putting only: So the PA4 has a very different feel in the hand.  First off the side of the disc is very blunt.  But that's not the odd part, the spot where a beaded putter has a bead, this disc is flat but it continues towards the center of the disc. I'm not sure if I'm describing this well but it sticks out more over the faceplate.  Personally it wasn't for me.  I just couldn't get consistent releases on the disc.  But the 300 plastic is a great putting grip.  I liked the neutral flight.  I did find it a bit glidier than advertised though.  Still it was a very neutral flight while putting.

I first picked up a PA-4 after getting some from a Prodigy sponsored tournament (thanks Prodigy!) At the time I was throwing a mixed bag so I threw the PA-4 for a while to try it out.

At first I wasn't really into the rim; it has a very unique profile and feel in the hand. The rim is very square compared to a lot of other discs I have held and thrown. After I used it and acclimated to its slightly unique rim, I really started to like it.

Due to its rim, I gravitated towards using it more as an approach and driving putter, and not so much a putting putter. It flies very consistently, with a good amount of turn. I can throw it 80% and down and it does amazing things; hyzer-flips, turnovers, dead strait medium powered shots, you name it. Also, with enough height, it has enough fade to come out of any anhyzer and flatten/fade back.

Overall I think this is a great disc for all levels of players. I would also be interested in trying the more premium plastic for driving, but there is something about the feel and flight of more base-line plastics that I love (despite not being as durable and beating in more quickly).

This is a pretty interesting disc. I purchased this disc to replace a very flippy Wizard I threw off the tee quite often. Out of the box, this disc is surprisingly pretty stable. During field testing, I threw the PA4 with hyzer to see how much it would turn. However, the PA4 actually held a hyzer for the entire flight when thrown at around 50% power. When I increased the power, it began to turn to the right a bit more, but still had a slight fade to the left, making for a straight flight path overall.

I've decided the best way for me to use this disc for the shots I want is to throw this disc on an anhyzer route. The 300s plastic will likely beat in fairly quickly, which will help reach the flippy nature of the Wizard it is replacing. I noticed that when thrown on an anhyzer, in a headwind, the PA4 will become a fairly decent roller disc. I will also use this disc on short, tight tunnel shots, that require a straight shot. Overall, I think this is a good beginner friendly disc that can also be utilized by more advanced players.

Converted! I learned my lesson. I heard so many pros talking about how they love a stiff and stable putter. Over and over, the Aviar was brought up. I worked really hard to make aviars work, and love them still. But it only took me 5 minutes of putting with the PA-4s to change my world. With an Aviar, I felt comfortable to 20' but outside of that had the hardest time controlling the fade or trying to get just the right amount of anny. PA-4s eliminated all of that. I can just go for dead center chains within the circle and even outside the circle I am able to give a more consistent run at the basket than ever before. As a putting putter, I haven't found anything better for me. Even as driving putter I have learned how to hyzer-flip these for nearly 300 feet with only about 15 feet left to right movement. I've left a novel, but truly this has become a staple disc for me. Not friendly for anything more than putting on windy days, but that's to be expected.

I don't use this driving or putting much (I've got my Aviars for that), but it's really great for approaches - in lower speeds, it doesn't turn and when it touches the ground, it grabs it and stays. Nice grip, quite durable material.

My favorite putter to date. Pops out of the hand thanks to that sweet rim. Plastic is super grippy.

Fantastic Putter!. I've been putting with Gateway Wizards (Soft, RFF, and Eraser) for a little over a year now. My philosophy has always been if it ain't broke, don't fix it. The Wizard is by no means 'broke' but after using the 300s Pa4, my putting isn't either. First off I would not use this as a driving putter. I have a proto Pa4 and Axiom Envy that I prefer off the tee because of their stability. I tend to have a heavy hand when it comes to driving (RHBH) and the few times I tossed the Pa1 off the tee it really just wanted to turn and burn unless I put it on a hyzer angle. Where this putter excels for me is anywhere within 60 ft. I typically use a straddle putt and/or push putt in which I'll line my shot up in a straight line in front of me. I try to release high and let the putt fly/fall straight into the chains.

Where my Wizard would fly straight for about 15-20ft before having a pretty strong fade kick in this Pa4 just wants to keep going straight with no fade at all. Srsly, I'll put this thing in the air on a straight line to the basket and it keeps on that same line from my push/straddle putt stance. I don't know what else to say about this disc except that I love everything about it. The 300s plastic feels great in the hand. It is stiff yet a little tacky and is hungry for chains. I love the lower profile (it feels more like a mid in your hand rather than a putter) and the way it feels in the hand. I feel a little bad that this thing is unseating my Wizards, but I was about 85% within 40ft with the Pa1 and that was enough to make my decision for me. I highly recommend this putter, especially if you push/straddle putt and want the disc to fly and keep straight.
