The F1 is the most overstable of the Prodigy fairway drivers. This disc is currently available in the quality series 400 plastic, and utilizes Prodigy’s easy release technology. Prodigy describes the F1 as a “medium speed, significantly overstable fairway driver with predictable controllable flights.” This new disc will excel in all wind conditions and will work well for overhand tomahawk and thumber throws.

    171g, 750 x-out plastic.

I was expecting this to be more overstable than it is for me.   The stability of the F series must be more like that of the M series- there's not a big difference for example between the M2 and M1 in the turn/fade department. There is definitely a difference, but it's not as big as you might expect. Maybe it's the x-out factor, maybe a mislabeled F2, or maybe this 750 plastic is more understable than the 400g stuff. But it's not doing what the book says, and it's brand new. It is definitely less resistant to turn than the numbers and flight guide suggest. Either this F1 is not like the others, or it's rated more overstable than it actually is.

I love Prodigy plastics, and use their mids and putters.  I'm glad I tried this F1 I like it alot, even though it's not quite what I was expecting. It flies like a fast mid. There's a little bit of turn when you throw it hard, and if I put anny on a hard throw, it will follow that line before coming back and fading.  Softer shots, it will fade hard. It can get around an obstacle and come back. It will fly straight and fade. It will also flip up if you throw it hard enough. It's a very useful disc for a lot of shots. It is a lot like a viper with more glide. I have thrown my viper an F1 back to back. THe F1 goes a little further and a little faster with more glide and more forward fade. The viper cuts out harder and flies a little slower.

I will be using this disc. It's predictable, and that helps me with good placement. I would like to add that I can cut a Forehand Roller with this sucker like nothing else-- forehand at 45-60 degrees and it's money every time.

what's more, I picked up a very light 155g 350 F1, and it soars. It flies like a D4 with more control but near the same distance. wow.
