The F1 is the most overstable of the Prodigy fairway drivers. This disc is currently available in the quality series 400 plastic, and utilizes Prodigy’s easy release technology. Prodigy describes the F1 as a “medium speed, significantly overstable fairway driver with predictable controllable flights.” This new disc will excel in all wind conditions and will work well for overhand tomahawk and thumber throws.

    500 Details

500 Plastic was development over a considerable period of time to formulate a blend based upon player feedback. It has a stiffer, less gummy feel than 400 Plastic. The 500 blend provides an extremely confident grip on the firm, yet flexible flight plate. It also provides a very solid feeling rim.

I really want to like this disc. I'm not sure if it's flashing or what but the wing and the rim are both fairly sharp. Flight wise and handfeel it's great. It's reminiscent of the other "F" series discs in the lineup. Similar but different enough to be able to tell them apart in a blind test. It's overstable. Not crazy overstable either. It's close to a slower and shorter Feedback. Will go straight for a short bit then dump out. I'm hoping that as I throw it more it will wear that sharpness off. Not my favorite disc in the lineup but by far the worst I've tried.
