The D4 is a slightly understable distance driver in the Prodigy line. This disc is an amazingly far distance driver for intermediate players, and disc golfers with moderate arm speed. Even beginners and amateurs will have moments where they can make this disc sail. The glide this disc offers is excellent and it has a very limited end-of-flight fade. The D4 has a soft beveled rim that allows for a smoother, more comfortable release. Some credit the longer flight to the more efficient inner rim. This disc, like the other drivers in the Prodigy line, has very similar dimensions and the same rim width (2.3 cm). By getting used to similar feeling discs that react differently, disc golfers should be able to throw more consistently and can choose their specific distance driver based on the shot they face.

    400G X-Out, 174g. She's a beaut, Clark. She's a beaut.

This may be the pop toppiest disc I've ever purchased. I can't help but push it down and hear the pop. It's golden. Sure enough, its first throw on the course put me beyond my hole 22 record, an easy 475-500+ all the way to the bottom of the wash. Short pitch up to the basket, easy birdie. Typically I'm hitting 425 on this hole with my Destroyers/Journeys. It's flight was magical. Not too much turn, steady fade, incredible glide. Threw it in a slight tailwind, so I have yet to experience all wind directions with it, but I didn't buy it to throw in headwinds. This is a calm air/tail-wind bomber and likely fairly beginner-friendly. Kinda reminds me of a Beast on steroids. The turn/fade are similar. I'm jacked about this disc. Gotta take it to the field soon to compare against my Mamba (haven't thrown it yet). Not many discs surprise me, but this baby did. For the low, low price of $12.74. Oh, and the 400G plastic is superlative.

Give this disc a shot. I doubt you'll be disappointed.

The absolute most reliable driver (on a non-windy day) that I currently bag. I feel that this is the perfect driver for players that are just starting to throw distance drivers or those that just can't get a more overstable driver up to speed.
