The D3 Max is a modified edition of the D3. Players will find the D3 Max slightly more understable than the traditional D3, allowing newer players to get more distance, and more advanced players to have a seasoned driver right out of the box. The D3 Max will hold the line and get that extra distance.

This is too touchy and subject to winds. It's not flippy and it's not stable, just unpredictable in my hands. I honestly don't know what to do with it. There are more reliable discs. I don't recommend this one- it has driven me to madness.  I suppose it could be a long turnover disc, but I don't trust it enough to use it.

I prefer literally every other driver Prodigy makes to this one. I love the D1 max, and bag it plus x2 x3, x5. H1v2.

I feel like I've tried enough distance drivers to give this a fair shake. It seems to stall out and dive left (rhbh) too quickly and doesn't turn very well unless I throw a big anhyzer. I've had the disc for a month now and tried it in a lot of situations (headwind tailwind no wind) and compared to the 10 to 13 speed discs (of which I own at least a dozen) this is the one I would trust the least.

Talk about maximum speed! I can put a move on this thing! At first glance it is a bit more over stable than I was anticipating. but when thrown with some heat it will hold a line longer than almost any disc I have seen. From other reviews I have read, it seems to break in really well so I am excited for that.

I can also slow this disc down tremendously to get a lot of control out of it. I use it for low ceiling up shots about 150-200 ft out and it seems to really like that distance (at slow speed).

Overall a sick disc. would definitely recommend to a friend looking for a new distance driver. also 400g from prodigy is my favorite plastic on the market, so grippy and yet so smooth on the release.

This disc can bomb! Love the feel in the hand which is a big thing for me, it has a nice flat top and the rim is not insanely big either. When I rip on this thing flat with power it will ride straight for a little bit and then when the turn kicks in it tracks right a healthy amount but has enough fade at the end to start pulling it back to your target line but still finish just right of your target line. It is super glidey and I can get some crazy distance with this thing. I wouldn't trust this in a headwind or a left to right crosswind. But if you have a tail wind or no wind I would be pulling this out on a long open fairway to get the distance. If you have been playing for a while and ready to step up to a 12 speed driver and wanting to try prodigy I would highly recommend this disc. 400 G is some great feeling gummy plastic that gets grippier the more I use it. I would put this as a 12/6/-2.5/1.5

The D-3Max is a fast distance driver that fills a slot as a neutral flyer with a little bit of finish. Mine is not broken in so this review is for one straight out of the box. This disc doesn't really flip up and ride like my other -3 turn drivers. I throw it for long-reaching slight hyzer shots that flatten out a little bit. I'll throw this into a headwind if I'm looking for an understandable shot as I am confident I won't turn it over.

I love the disc and while I'm still getting used to it, I would consider this my main driver. I have 3 D2 Max's and just got this one and have actually found this disc to be more stable than the D2 Max's, however mine is pretty domey so that may lead to that. I realize that leads to questions about consistency but as long as the disc is filling a spot in my bag I don't care what it is marketed to do. I can throw this with a mild headwind (anything under 10 mph) and it won't turn and burn. Mine is pretty domey so it will fly forever on the right line. This and my D3 fly very similarly. It is also a great forehand disc as it is stable enough to resist turning over but not so OS that it can't hold a line for a while. I love the disc!

This D3 Max is a flying phenomenon. I, personally, love fast speed and stable driver that can hold the line with a soft finish. If you throw this with a slight hyzer, you'll need a binoculars because this will reach your max potential! Absolutely refreshing and enjoyable driver for all skill level players in the game.

D3 Max have earned the spot in my bag.

I tried the D3 Max in comparison to the regular D3, and I didn't notice a ton of difference at my arm speed. My D3 Max was a little domey. It has great glide, moreso than the D3, but still a nice bite at the end of the flight.

It wasn't becoming my max distance driver at my arm speed, but a good reliable overstable driver. I'm a rec/intermediate player though, so I think that other faster arm players will get this thing to it's full potential!

I got a D3 Max a Prodigy hosted tournament and this thing bombs! I throw distance drivers around 350 and for me this disc isn't as understable as the numbers say. Slight hyzer and it will flip up, maybe turn a little and have a soft stable finish. Deeper hyzer throws hold for a long pure hyzer shot. Flat throws give that nice S shot with full flight. Great compliment if you have a D1 max and want something to push a little further without having to force a turnover. I say not for beginners because it's a distance driver and in my opinion beginners should stick with fairways.
