The D3 Max is a modified edition of the D3. Players will find the D3 Max slightly more understable than the traditional D3, allowing newer players to get more distance, and more advanced players to have a seasoned driver right out of the box. The D3 Max will hold the line and get that extra distance.

This is the first Prodigy disc I've thrown. It could be due to the x-out that I got, but this seemed a little faster than speed 12, with less turn and more fade then advertised. I think it'll fly a lot better for me once it's broken in a bit. I heard the infinite review on Youtube say that it's kind of like a Pharaoh and I definitely disagree with that statement. Pharaohs are my go to distance drivers and the D3 Max has more turn and a harder fade than any of my 4 Pharaohs that are different weights/plastics/stages of wear.  Other discs that I've thrown that I would call similar are the MVP Relativity and the Discraft Crank SS.  Of those three (D3 Max, Relativity, and Crank SS), I personally prefer the Crank SS (the only Discraft mold I currently bag) as it seems to be the most reliably consistent and controllable. I'm still going to play with the D3 Max for awhile and it might start working more to my liking.  I'll update if there's any major changes in my opinion. Good disc overall.
