MVP says: “The Tesla’s responsive design balances a subtle turn and reliable fade, while a pronounced glide and forward finish gain extra distance. The Tesla extends high power or headwind lines and has plenty of bite to fade back reliably and reduce lateral drift. The Tesla can be considered the big brother to our acclaimed Volt fairway driver. Choose the Tesla for long-range pinpoint accuracy.”

Plasma plastic and still it is a bit more stable than I thought it would be. Similar to a getaway from DD but with a different wing feel (more curved) and a flatter top.

Good disc for smaller hand people like myself. Flies straight and finishes hyzer for a RHBH throw. Flies very similar to a Discraft Vulture or Innova Eagle. My favorite thing about this disc is the massive skip at the end of the flight, great for placement shots.

I've owned a few MVP drivers (Tesla, Insanity, Volt), and this Tesla and the Volt are very stable, just a rung below my Infinite Scepter in stability, more stable than I would anticipate based on numbers. I cannot get my 175g Volt to go flat, even if thrown level, so I bought this Tesla at 156g, thinking that with my lesser arm (I'm 39, 5'6", don't have a cannon, throw 9 speeds about 300-350 feet max), that the lower weight would translate into something that could level out and glide, but still be stable enough to fade. Not so, it feels just as stable as the 175g Volt, starts to hyzer almost immediately even if thrown flat.

I think part of the issue is MVP's construction. No matter how they design the stability and the aerodynamics at the rim, their flight plate pieces are always flat. I think this robs the discs of glide and makes them more stable than the rim design says the disc ought to be. My Volt is flat-topped, this Tesla is flat, the Insanity is flat. I haven't seen an MVP disc that doesn't have a flat flight plate.

I think the Gyro science is cool, their discs seem very durable, I love my Hex and my Envy, and the Insanity I like, but I don't love this one. Going to try some single-mold middle-stability 9 speeds from other manufacturers I think.

This disc bombs. Easily one of the furthest flying discs in my bag and for my arm speed.

As a former forehand-only player, this was absolutely my favorite disc to throw. I could always rely on this disc to flex out for me, even when thrown on a big hyser. Now that I've gotten my arm speed up, I can still throw this thing for slight hyser flips as well as high anhyser flex shots. Definitely more stable than it says. This was the first disc I could forehand straight, so definitely pick one up if you have a decent arm and want to learn forehand!

The flight numbers  say it should be stable however like many of the reviews already, it is much more overstable than the flight numbers suggest.

I still carry the tesla for certain courses and not disappointed at all. I have the mold in the plasma plastic and it looks nice. For a beginner like myself, when thrown straight, it will start hyzering pretty early but it is able to get nice skip at the end. Not as beginner friendly as I would have thought but it comes in handy as an overstable fairway from time to time.

Well to start off, my 165g Plasma Tesla is not -1 turn and 2 fade. No, it is an overstable driver. It is not a Firebird, however, and I would simply say it is in the PD-family of discs. For me as a max 350' thrower, this is not going to be my main backhand driver. Instead, it going to make a good forehand driver and OS / windy day driver. An older brother to my Resistor.

I am not disappointed with my purchase and this disc will go in the bag. I was hoping for a longer Volt and found that I have a longer Resistor. And that is fine, I will stick with the Fission Tesla for the longer Volt.

I love my Tesla, but it's much more overstable than the ratings suggest. My friend has a Tesla about the same amount beaten in but his is MUCH more understable. Mine reminds me of a firebird.

I was pleasantly surprised with the Tesla I picked up (PDGA stamp, 152g), and with myself running a medium arm speed, this has become my go to for my shots I need to fade to the left (I throw LHFH).  It is consistently getting me a clean 250' before sharp turning where I need it to go.  I found myself using this is my primary utility driver for technical holes as I've almost aced a few baskets with it when my shots are more than just bombing down the field.  I plan on picking up a heavier one for the more windy days as I won't try to send this one up once the wind starts going 10 or more.  I would recommend this from anyone new once you got your form and consistency down, to even the seasoned pro.

This disc is really nice. Flies very similar to a Wraith or Krait. Has a little bit of turn when thrown flat and enough fade to make it bite at the end. Overall great disc, would definitely recommend it. Probably MVP's best 11 speed driver

As a recent adopter of the MVP/Axiom brand I have found this to be my most used disc that is created by the company. It was also one of my first purchased in the MVP/Axiom line of discs.

This disc reminds me of a destroyer/wraith in terms of flight, it definitely needs more power that some of the other MVP discs. It's a disc that will go wonderful distances on a hard snapped throw. I use it primarily for distances between 250-350 and have found it to be one that I can push 400 with on a great day.

The disc is slim in feel, which is great for my hand size, and the plasma plastic looks gorgeous, and is nice and gummy.

This is a great disc to get a feel for what MVP plastic can do for you, I would however, recommend that someone newer to disc golf choose something different in the MVP line.

This disc as I mentioned before is definitely in need of a good power thrower for it to hit its potential flight pattern.

Got the Infinite Bomber stamp on a 175g Tesla. Love the look and feel of this disc but I'm having the same trouble with it as I did my Proton Photon. Same weight. I can't throw it for whatever reason. Never gets flat, wobbly on release... Definitely me, I know, but I have no problem throwing lighter weight Photons as I have 2 Fission Photon's, one at 134g and another at 164g. Both of which I can throw well with consistency. Love MVP/Axiom but I can only throw lighter weights.

Still much love for my MVP/Axiom disc as half my bag is the brand. 3 out of 4 putters I carry are MVP/AXIOM.

Just need lighter weight flyers. Hope to buy the 151g Infinite Bomber Tesla and see where that gets me!

I carry a Tesla for hook shots and strong headwind drives. I'm not really enamored of the Plasma Tesla I have, for it seems to dump harder than I'd like. I plan to pick up a Tesla in a different plastic to compare flights.

    It's too fast for beginners.
