I tested this along with its MVP/Axiom cousins the Inertia and Insanity plus some other 8/9-speeds with similar Turn/Fade numbers listed, and they seem to be about right to me. The Fission plastic may not be as durable as some others offered by MVP, but not too bad: If anything my discs in Fission plastic just get beat in more quickly and become less stable, but they haven't ever looked beat up. The 9-speed may be a bit much for a lot of beginners (although it may give them a consistent, but not overbearing fade), but may work well from the start for those playing forehand; it may be a bit better than the Insanity if the -2 Turn pans out for them. I'll say that MVP/Axiom discs are among my favorites: The shape of the discs seem to fit my hand well and release cleanly from my grip. It's nice to have them be as consistent as they are from disc to disc, too, so you're less likely to have issues with unexpected release angles or the nose being too high/low after switching between discs with very different profiles. Pretty happy with the flight characteristics and distance with these MVP/Axiom discs, as well.
