The Tangent is an understable midrange disc by Maple Valley Plastics. MVP disc sports is known for its high quality putters and midrange discs while utilizing the overmold and “gyroscope” technology. This understable disc is ideal for beginners and less powerful disc golfers, but will also hold a place for more powerful throwers who need a nice straight flight. MVP claims that it has a smooth profile that will fit in your hand like a glove. The Tangent complements MVP’s Vector & Axis nicely to give MVP a full suite of midranges, with the Tangent being the most understable of the bunch.

I'm not an awesome player by any means, but my technique is improving! Used to throw my Stratus a ton just because its incredible at making up for bad technique, but this disc has all but entirely replaced it. Goes exactly where i send it and stays super flat and lazer straight for me (important on the tree-covered courses i frequent). I can just thread needles between trees all day with this!

I just got this disc.   First thoughts.   Very easy to turn over.   It feels like a putter in hand and acts like one in full drive.   Back off the power and it's super straight.   Little more mustard and it gives some turn.   Great for shot shaping.  Amazing for single disc rounds.   Very beginner friendly. I bag one and now have one on standby for when i either wear it out to being too under stable or when i inevitably lose it.

This is theeee straightest flying disc I have ever owned  (out of the 27 total that I've purchased).  I picked one up from a local store in the eclipse glow green 174 grams weight.  Love it!
