The Lariat is a straight-flying fairway mold. It works as an excellent stable control driver, capable of holding a large variety of lines. This has the ability to be your workhorse disc, as it can fly straight, hold hyzer lines and anhyzer lines, all to ensure that you have the accuracy that you need.

This disc definitely has an interesting feel and flight. I would say it's numbers are pretty accurate, perhaps in alpha it is a touch beefier or "more true", whereas bravo really likes to turn out of hand. I will say, for a woodsy control driver that BOOMS, it is hard to find a disc that will carve lines quite like the lariat. The shallow feel is a little weird backhand, but I'm glad to put up with it because this thing is a forehand machine. Perfect buttery flip up flicks. Love this disc

The Lariat is an ultra-straight fairway driver. As one of Lone Star's earlier molds, it is on the shallower side, so it might not fit super well in your hand, but in mine, it feels amazing. The Lariat will fill the slot in your bag filled by the Valkyrie or the Insanity, providing slower arm-speeds the ability to throw the disc ultra-far, and give more advanced players maximum control.

This is my new go-to straight/flat driver. As a beginner with about a year of recreational experience, I've been on the hunt for a driver that goes nice and straight with a flat release that properly fits my current arm speed. THIS DISC IS EXACTLY WHAT I HAVE BEEN WANTING. On a good flat drive I get just a touch of turn, with just a touch of fade at the end which results in an overall striaght flight just like the numbers would suggest. Out of every driver I've tried, this disc gives me the most confidence that I'll get a straight "point and shoot" flight. I would absolutely recommend this for a beginner who is starting to build more consistency in their throw, power, and release looking for a straight flier.

Superb disc. Lariat is pretty dead straight and I love it (I think everyone needs a 9 5 -1 1 disc in their bag). Lone star did a great job with this mold

Personally one of my favorites from Lone Star. It is slightly OS (at least in my bravo) but so money. It flips up straight for about 315 feet then fades gently. If I had to compare it to another disc I've thrown it would be Innovas Star TL3 just more glide and a bit faster. Amazing Disc!

The Lariat, for me, is a true nine speed workhorse! It's great for flex lines or straight shots with a slow reliable fade. I bag both the Alpha and Bravo plastics in this mold.
