The Lariat is a straight-flying fairway mold. It works as an excellent stable control driver, capable of holding a large variety of lines. This has the ability to be your workhorse disc, as it can fly straight, hold hyzer lines and anhyzer lines, all to ensure that you have the accuracy that you need.

175 gram Lonestar Lariat in Alpha plastic. This is a great neutral fairway driver. The plastic is smooth, comfortable, and so far appears to be pretty durable and high quality. The flight numbers also seem accurate, making this a useful and versatile disc. You do not need a ton of arm speed to get it to turn and it has about an equal amount of gentle fade. The Lariat is easy to control, accurate, and unless you intentionally overpower it (or are a more powerful throw than a beginner like me) it will hold a hyzer line without flipping up or anhyzer without fading out. I also noticed it handles wind much better than a 175 gram C-line FD. Overall I am impressed and will probably consider other Lonestar discs next time I have a need.

This disc is a laser! I use a slight anhyzer out of the hand and it just goes where I point it! The Bravo has a bit more fade, but I prefer the alpha to get me through gaps and set me up for the next shot.

Wow has this disc impressed me. I was hesitant when I saw the numbers. I didn't expect it to be as straight as it is because the higher speed a disc, the less likely you are to get the straight shots out of it. The fade can seem slightly more than 1 at times, but I would argue that this is the perfect slightly longer version of all of the 7 speed straight fairway drivers out there. I'll be interested to try out the Lonestar Frio soon to see if that fills that 7 speed straight slot in the Lonestar lineup. Since adding this disc to the bag, it has become a disc that I lean on often for all types of shots. It really is the most workable 9 speed on the market currently.

This disc is AMAZING. I can't really compare it to another disc because Lone Star did something special here. If you don't believe me do an advanced disc search by the flight numbers. There is nothing like it. This thing is a rocket that just goes straight towards its target. I can push this thing out pretty dang far with a gentle fade at the end. Lone Star put the special sauce into this disc.

This disc was a pleasant surprise. In the alpha plastic it was very similar to an undertaker, but slightly easier to forehand imo. It went very straight and very far. A bravo plastic would be like an undertaker/thunderbird mix.

Could be the sole distance driver in my bag.

I typically like to throw the curl for distant shots, but this disc has almost the same amount of legs with more control.

The Bravo seems to be more stable in this mold. The alpha is a hyzer flip machine especially in lighter weights. Still breaking in the glow, seems like it will be in the middle of those two at this point.

Of the few molds I carry multiples of. Highly recommend recommended

This one was 170g in alpha plastic. I have only played a couple rounds with it, but threw it as often as made sense. It flies pretty true to the numbers. Thrown flat its a gentle s flight. Flips up for a nice straight line shot as well. It reminds me of a Pipeline or a Passion and covers some of the same kinds of shots but with better penetration. The wing shape is more like a sleek TL though.

This is my fourth disc from Lone Star, and I am pretty stoked. I really like the quality of the plastic, and the bravo and glow are both pretty gummy. Its kind of crazy how many molds they have for such a small producer they are. Did i say how much i like their plastic?
