The Bayonet in Bravo plastic was a good forehand disc for me. I found it to be slightly less stable in Bravo, but more stable than the numbers suggested. It's good high speed bomber, but it's not for everyone.

I'd liken to this somewhere in the realm of stable Pharaohs and Axiom Mayhems.

    Disc - 173 Bravo Bayonet

Feel - The bayonet feels great in the hand. I do not have overly large hands, but this rim does not feel terribly wide in the hand. The bayonet I have has a significant continual dome that not make the disc uncomfortable for forehands in my opinion. If a Destroyer or most 12-13 speed discs feel good in your hand, you should really give this disc a try.

Flight - Most Bayonets seem much more stable than the numbers suggest. I have friends who also have bayonets and it seems as though the more dome on this disc contributes to its stability. If you are looking for a flippier bayonet, try and find a flatter run of the disc. The bayonets with more dome are significantly more stable than those with less dome. This disc flies similarly in my opinion to the innova destroyer or other overstable distance drivers. I believe that the flight numbers from Lone Star should be changed because this disc is not similar to a Shryke or other flippier molds.

This disc is everything a Destroyer tried to be.

Bomber for big arms. I see flip or turn out of this disc when thrown into a headwind. Otherwise for me, only a little turn. I normally throw 11 speeds on the stable side. This will beat in a bit, but if you don't throw over 400 I would expect more stability than numbers indicate.

I picked up a first-run Bayonet expecting it to fly like a DD Captain or a Shryke (as advertised by the Lone Star folks). Nope. This is stable. There is no turn to be found with this disc. I'd say it throws more like a Rive or similar. Doesn't make it a bad disc, but I was hoping for a neutral-throwing distance driver. This ain't it.
