    Purchased 2 of each. The bayonet and the warbird.

    The bayonet is more over stable than my warbirds

    Warbird = destroyer

    Bayonet = Ape

    Good disc just not even close to the flight #s

    The Bayonet is a must-bag for players looking to start a Lone Star bag. In Alpha plastic, my experience is that it flies like a faster Destroyer, and that Bravo plastic tends to fly a little flippier with a little more glide. It definitely feels like a 13-speed in the hands though, so if you have smaller hands, you might have issues with the Bayonet.

    The Bayonet is my go to distance driver right now. You can rip on it and it gets a little turn and then finishes (without crashing). If you put more anhyzer on it, then it will hold as well. Highly recommend for backhand bombs. On forehand, it gets you easy distance too. I personally need something a little more overstable for my forehand though as mine is a little wobbly so this will turn over for me. Goes far with a smooth throw though

    Great disk for big arm throwers.  I agree with Blaize that this first run is a bit more over stable, but you still get a good turn before if faids out.  I look forward to trying it in a different plastic and seeing if the next run has a little more turn.

    Don't look at the flight numbers I'm sure later runs will be more accurate. But early runs are stable in both plastics. This is 100% a 13/5/-.5/3 in alpha plastic. It's like 13/5/-1/2 in bravo plastic. For me this is a forehand monster and I can get it to reach out to 400'.  On backhand it's like 450'. I'm excited to see how the alpha plastic breaks in as the other alpha disc I have that have some wear and tear seem to gain glide.

    I agree with other reviews that this disc is not a -2/2 disc. It flies closer to my Lucid Chameleon Raider than my Shryke. The plastic looks and feels great, but definitely an overstable distance driver that isn't going to show any turn unless you have serious power.

    The Bayonet is more stable than the -2 turn would imply. Don't have a big arm 300 feet is max distance for me. I'm getting 280 even with a hyzer release. It will hold a hyzer line with little to no flip to flat. Long sweeping hyzer shot for me. Waiting to see how it beats in hoping in flies closer to numbers as it beats in. Would recommend to advanced and open players it is to much disc for beginners and intermediate players with slower arm speeds. Will update as this one starts to beat in.

    I would give this 3.5 stars if that were an option. I love Lone Star and believe they will be a big time player in short order. I have several of their molds and will continue to check out and bag their discs. The problem with this disc is that the numbers are off IMO. I'm sure it'll beat in to get closer to what is shown on the disc but out of the box it seems to fly like a Rive or Destroyer.
