I'll start by saying I am currently 905 rated and can throw about 340 consistently with a distance driver. I have bagged at least 2 Rivals since 2015. It has been a workhorse for me for almost a decade. Right now I have 3 that I am cycling in different stabilities. Out of the box, the Rival is slightly overstable, not like a Firebird or anything, but a consistent fade at the end. As you wear them in they start to get a bit of turn in them and create really nice s-curves. My consistent max distance is around 300 with a Rival (RHBH) and occasionally up to 320 ft. On forehands when thrown at about 60% power, I can get them out to just under 300 feet. I would recommend this disc for any skill level, folks with slower arm speeds will be able to use it for a more overstable slot and folks with faster arms will be able to get all sorts of flights out of it.

I got this disc to be my main fairway/woodsy forehand disc. I've only thrown it maybe 15 times, but it seems very flippy for me. I know it only has a stated fade of 2, but mine turns and stays straight as an arrow. Even when I hyzer flip it, it doesn't really fade too much. If you're familiar with Legacy discs, I wanted this to be my middle ground between my pursuit and my enemy but it's definitely not that stable. Great disc, just less fade than I hoped for.

The Rival is a great choice for players of all levels as a straight flying fairway driver. I myself am between beginner and intermediate. I started playing seriously about a year ago. I'm mostly RHBH and my max distance is about 315.

I got the Rival because both the Teebird and Teebird3 were out of stock at the time, and it has been a great addition to my collection. I mostly use it for straight shots between 270 and 290 feet. The Rival flies exactly as straight as you release it. It holds hyser and anhyzer lines well. You can get it to flip some if you throw hard it hard enough and it makes a very good flex shot disc. It has just enough stability to fight turning over and still fly laser straight. The numbers are spot on. This thing goes super straight for the majority of it's flight and always fades, finishing just left of the release point.

The Pinnacle Glow plastic is hard and smooth, I like it on warmer more humid days. It's been holding up pretty well to use and maintainingb it's flight path. The glow is very bright as well. I will definitely be keeping this disc in my bag for a very long time.

Very versatile and has a surprising amount of distance potential for a lower speed disc. They can take the power and hold their lines without too much ground play or skip. Even for slower arm speeds they fly nice as short as 350' and can give some good flight. I've tested these out in head winds and they hold up pretty well and turn a little but not out of control. The pearly plastic is the kicker, it's second to none.

This is the best 7 speed disc on the market, and my favorite Legacy disc.  It is very workable. You can make it hyzer, fly straight, or flex. It is very comfortable, and has a nice dome to it. I prefer it in the old opaque pearly Pinnacle plastic, but I also throw it in the new translucent Pinnacle too. This is just an excellent disc that everyone should be throwing. If you are looking to try Legacy, this should be your first one.

This thing is an absolute must bag disc! If you have ever thrown a teebird and like its flight path then you have to get one of these, if not 2 or 3 in different stages of wear. i can sling this disc well over 350 and i know it's going to hook up, not that it is very overstable, just that its dependable as hell. Also great for distance control if you dont want to disc up to an outlaw since it wont get a huge skip maybe a little but it wont flare way past the green if you come in too hot. More workable than a 12x teebird.

One of the best discs ever made. Great grip, glide and stability. I currently have 7 Rivals and love them all.

I have heard a lot of people talk about the Rival being a Teebird copy, but I found it to be a bit less stable then a fresh teebird. The rival had some slight turn new, but very consistent fade at the end. I would say it is a more stable JLS, or almost like a longer Gazelle. I really liked the flight of this disc. The Pinnacle plastic was some of the best feeling champion-like plastic that I have felt. Overall, this is a great disc from Legacy.

My absolute favorite disc currently. Great BH or FH. This thing flies so straight with a predictable fade at the end. If you are looking with a flat top and thick rim, this is a good choice. As for the plastic it can really take a beating. I have thrown full power into trees 50 feet out and couldnt even find a scuff. My course is hilly with dirt and rocks all over the greens. this disc will slide right into place thrown flat or skip once and sit down thrown angled.

So sad I lost my 173 Pinnacle Rival from the Ace Run. I have my TeeBird now, but the Rival is a pretty amazing disc. It was pretty overstable for me.

Loving this disc, but for me it's more of a Teebird3 clone and not a Teebird.  Mine is pretty flat without the raised shoulder all my teebirds have.  I don't see quite as much glide out of the Rival, and it feels slightly faster.  Threw my 167 Pinnacle versus a Star Teebird, Champion Teebird, and a Star Teebird3.  Rival went the furthest with the 2nd most fade compared to the champion teebird.  I feel like the Star Teebird got to where it was going on the tightest rope, but may have just been my inconsistent throwing.  I have no problem replacing the Teebird with this disc, despite some slight differences.  Teebird3 has dumping fade for me as opposed to forward fade like the Rival has.  Great disc and the pinnacle plastic blows regular champion out of the water.  For my 300ft arm, I'd rate this as a 7.5/8 for speed then 4/0/2.5 for the rest.  I can't see this disc beating in for quite some time as this plastic is unscathed after several dozen rounds now.

The original pinnacle plastic is a thing of beauty in the rival mold. Great feel and super long durability. Also super dependable flight within your color spectrum. Laser beam straight and dependable fade at the end with a new disc. As the disc starts to beat in it becomes that much better as you can shape more lines with it.

Love the Rival in Icon and Pinnacle plastic. Nothing prettier than pearly pinnacle though. As for flight, they are similar and overall, the Rival flies like a Teebird with a little less fade. It's a accurate fairway that resists high speed turn. The icon beats in to a smooth buttery plastic which is nice. If you want a beautiful pearly flexible fairway that flies like your trusty Teebird, grab a pinnacle Rival.

My rival has a domey top to it.  It is great in the hand.  And most importantly it does exactly what it is suppose to do: fly straight with a relaible fade at the end.  I found this to be one of the most consistent discs in my bag.  For me it's a more comfortable t-bird.

Flat out the best disc ever created.  Sorry to anyone who has other favorite discs but the rival is perfect.  It can do everything.  Its a 7 plus speed disc and it can do everything. Feel like most pinnacle plastic is amazing.  You can not have a more trusty disc in your bag.  Handles power of all speeds and its a control driver.  Always straight maybe some turn if thrown hard and always fades back. The hole can be towards the north and i can only have a shot to the west and i can  hard ani this thing around obstacles and it will start hard right flatten out and go straight toward the basket. Good for Controlled/smooth forehands as well.  This disc is basically a Teebird and a Thunderbird all in one.  I'll take any plastic in any weight of this disc mold. Disc is good for distance up to 350ft but it used mostly for 300 to 335ft.

Pinnacle 171g. This disc is a longer EMAC Truth. It is stable and straight with a gently ending fade. At my normal distance, I can't get too much turn on it, but man does it fly straight. If I really crank on it there is maybe a tiny touch of turn, but on regular throws it is nice and straight finishing a little to the right (LHBH). Due to its similarity to the eMac Truth it did not stay in my bag though.

I have a 169g Pinnacle Rival and man this disc loves to fly.  It flies like my Teebirds but better.  I don't care for the new Jolly Launcher plastic on the new Champ Teebirds.  The Pinnacle Rival is a better feeling and gripping plastic.  I also think the Rival gets more distance than my Camp Teebirds.  The rim fits very nice in my hand and I can get a nice grip on the disc.  I also find it flies true to the flight numbers.  I think Lagacy discs has a real winner with this mold.

The Rival is my all time favorite fairway driver. I have it in Pinnacle plastic and it is very consistent! It flies very straight and had a reliable fade at the end. I use it on holes from 200-300 feet. I prefer this over the Teebird and the FD. The rim feels better in my hand than the other two, but everyone has their own preference. Give this a try if you're looking for some new life in your game!

Baby S curve and always lands nose first. Gotta love it. Especially when you get the super cool Black Zombie graphic. Have a friend who asks to use it every single time we play. He's offered $20 for it. Nah, man. S'all mine.

I lost my nicely worn in Rival and replaced it recently. The flight path is honest when the disc is new, but start to break the disc in and it will do some pretty amazing lines, depending on how you throw. Great disc.

This Joker is nothing but the truth. Talk about control I own 3 all in max weight. Take a season Teebird with more glide and a little less fade and that's what you have with this puppy. My go to fairway driver. Very stiff when new but in time the Pinnacle wears in perfectly. Great when it comes to holding lines. Adding this disc to you bag can only drop strokes off you game.
