Basic Information
| Biography: | I was first introduced to the game by my uncle back in 2002, from then through graduating high school in 2008, I played about 15 or so rounds a year. Once I started college down at Illinois State University, I began to play 1-2 times per week. After college I started playing around 4-5 rounds a week until the year 2017. In 2017 I hiked the Appalachian Trail, which started my obsession with long distance hiking. I would do two more long distance hikes the following two summers and as a result played significantly less disc golf during this time. By the fall of 2019 I had been living in Grand Rapids, Michigan for about a year and realized I was surrounded by so many disc golf courses. Not really knowing many people in the area at the time, I began to start playing a few times a week, this eventually turned into every day and in the summers, since I am a special education teacher and am off, usually a few rounds a day. In 2022, after 20 years of being involved in the sport, I began to play tournaments, I really enjoy the competitive aspect and having to manage a course. I try to play in around 10 tournaments each year, with plans to play around 15 or so next year. I love to bring my two dogs, Lenny and Stu with me to the course. | ||||||||||||||||
