The Legacy Recluse is a very overstable mid, comparable to the Pursuit. The Recluse has a large bead and a slim profile. It will fight any wind and always hook up at the end of the shot.

The Recluse is my most trustworthy disc in my bag. Very overstable for a player like me, RHBH with average power but high spin. I can never throw it more than about 250ft, but for any 100-200ish approach where I have open space to my right and I need a hyzer shot that will skip hard to the left at the end, it's perfect. I do occasionally have release issues with it, which, with its big skip, can be a problem. But hold it confidently and don't be cute with it, and that issue won't pop up. Also very good on forehand approaches where you are pinched or on unstable ground but still need it to finish right. You can snap it out wide and it'll come back.

The Recluse is a lower profile midrange with very overstable flight. The rim has a big bead and every one I have owned has been board flat to puddle topped. This is a fantastic midrange when you need an overstable approach or the wind is ripping. I primarily use this disc for forehand approaches that need to fade hard in a short amount of time. Legacy plastic is fantastic and the recluse is a winner.

This is one of the beefiest approach discs out there. The rim is very shallow and might feel a little awkward on backhand shots, but as a forehand dominate approach player, this is one of my most used utility discs when I need something to flex in and out of trees. I've never been able to turn this disc over even in a headwind, but I will say it takes a lot of torque and power to maximize this disc's potential. For beginners, it will likely remain a utility disc. I got mine in pinnacle plastic, which I assume is more beefy than Icon plastic.

This is the most overstable mid I have ever thrown! this is my go-to disc for forehand flex lines, which is crazy based on how low speed this disc is. I'm not sure if it's just the run I got, but this thing flies like a captain's raptor but it is a midrange. I will say this takes incredible power to give it some distance so I wouldn't consider it a beginner disc although it can handle a lot of torque which is often helpful for players who haven't developed a strong forehand shot.

This might just be the best overstable mid ever made. Its not like all the other meathooks on the market that go straight for 3 feet then fall out of the sky. The beginning of its flight is dead straight then has a consistent and reliable fade. I love using it for any shots under 300ft that need a strong finish

Im going to be honest with you guys. This is the best overstable midrange on the market. Especially for a forehand user. I got to use one once by a legacy sponsored player and after I tried it once I was hooked. I went and bought two of them right after and they have been a staple in my bag ever since. 9 months later and they are still amazing discs!

The Recluse is a Justice with more glide.  Thank heavens, because my Justice went nowhere.  And I just love the Pinnacle plastic.  Gummy and grippy!  The Icon is better for cold weather, but for 3/4 of the year, I use my Pinnacle Recluse as my primary flick approach midrange disc.  It won't turn on you at all and always fades.

I am putting this up against the pinnacle of over stable mids, the Justice.  The recluse flies a lot like a justice, but not as much sharp finish.  The feel is very close as well. Both are beaded and both have very flat tops.  I had originally gotten a Westside Anvil as a longer version of the justice, but just never got the smooth release that I get with a Justice.  The Recluse gives me a very smooth release that gives you the confidence you need when it leaves the hand.

Overall, nothing can unseat the Justice, but when I need to go farther or don't have the really wide line open, the Recluse is a great alternative.
